Acapulco is the type of show you just want to hug, and this upcoming season on Apple TV+ looks just endearing. I just wish it wasn’t the last one.
In season four, present-day Máximo (Eugenio Derbez) works tirelessly to restore Las Colinas to its former glory before the grand reopening. In 1986, when a competitor claims the number one spot in the annual ranking of Acapulco’s “Best Hotels,” young Máximo (Enrique Arrizon) will do whatever it takes to get back on top and secure Las Colinas’ future.
If you have not seen the first three seasons, you should watch them if you want to enjoy a feel-good show that makes you smile. Whenever anyone tells me that they subscribed to Apple TV+, I tell them to watch the Rom-Com. That is how much I love it.
Acapulco’s final season premieres on July 23rd, with the series finale airing on September 17th.
