Scrubs aired on NBC for seven seasons, but then they cancelled it. ABC picked it up for an eighth season, but only aired it for two more seasons. Now, 15 years later, ABC wants it back, so they ordered a sequel.
Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke have all signed on to be part of it. Variety reports that more of the original cast is expected to return.
Season 10 finds JD (Braff) and Turk (Faison) scrubbing in together for the first time in a long time- medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart, and some surprises along the way.
Series creator Bill Lawrence said, “Scrubs means so very much to me. So excited for the chance to get the band back together.“
Fans have been asking for the sitcom to return for a while, and now they are getting it. So they better watch when Scrubs joins ABC’s lineup later this television season.
So, I am a huge fan of the late Irene Cara. Therefore, when I heard Zach Braff and Donald Faison singing Flashdance…What a Feeling with different lyrics in a commercial for T-Mobile; I was like, what the fuck is going on? Does her estate really need the money that badly?
However, then things took a turn. Jason Momoa started singing and dancing with them. And now I want Aquaman to do a musical. Braff’s light grey sweatshirt slipped off her shoulder like it did in the movie poster. And finally, Jennifer Beals, who starred in the film, made an appearance.
And now, I need a bucket of water to fall on me and cool me down because I feel like a Maniac.
Remember when Scrubs had a musical episode, and they sang Everything Comes Down to Poo? Well, Donald Faison and Zach Braff are still singing together, but they just added a new singman to their duet. That person is John Travolta, and together the three of them are singing the praises of T-Mobile’s home internet.
And now, I want a Scrubs sequel with John Travolta. Who else would watch?
It is no secret that Zach Braff and Donald Faison have an unbreakable Bromance since they played best friends on Scrubs. However, it looks like the two of them are taking their relationship to the next level. The two BFFs were seen holding hands in Disneyland, so do they have something to tell us?
Nope, but like Bert and Ernie, I wish they would just accept they belong together.
Zac Efron was checking out a garden, and he didn’t notice something in his path. That thing was a rake, and he stepped on the medal part of it.
What happens when you do that? The wood part stands straight up and hits you in the face. That caused the actor to fall down—a move we have seen in many slapstick comedies. Therefore, when he is ready to return to acting, I think he needs to do a movie like that. Preferably not another one with Seth Rogen because he is better than that.
