Believe it or not, before John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier all landed their roles on Full House, David Duchovny auditioned for all three of their parts. He told Jimmy Kimmel yesterday, he auditioned for one, and they asked him to try out for the another role. That one did not work either, so he read for the last role and as you know it did not work out for him.
Was he upset that he wasn’t cast in the sitcom? No, he would have taken it just to eat back then. I, on the other hand, am upset. He has a genius sense of humor and would have been able to pull off the role if he was half as comedic as the part he played in Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter Is Dead. Remember him that classic film? So brilliant.
Now having said that, I do not think The X-Files would have lasted as long without him. And same goes for Full House with him in it.
Thinkmodo decided to scare some New Yorkers by putting an alien in a newspaper machine and watching their reactions when they were visited by an extra terrestrial. Needless to say, they all got scared and had stuff come out of the places that martians probe. If you catch my drift.
Carson Daly wanted to see how his Today co-anchors would react to The X-Files (which is back on Fox January 3rd) prank and let’s just say only 2 out of the 3 scares could be shown. Proper former-First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager actually cursed and Dylan Dreyer screamed so loud the spaceships hovering over us heard her. When it comes to Hoda Kotb, it must’ve been something out of this world because they could not show it. Which is a real oh Hell no!
But at least we got to see all those other people get the fright of their lives and for New Yorkers that is saying a lot.

The first trailer is out for 2nd miracle season of The X-Files aka season 11 and 2018 cannot get here soon enough. Not only because Cigarette Smoking Man is back, but also because it looks so freaking good.
The X-Files was the first revival show to totally get it right, which is why we are seeing so many more of them. Thank you Chris Cater, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson for continuing to show us the truth is still out there.
It looks like The X-Files revival is back is production and David Duchovny was reunited with a familiar face. One of the aliens from the original run. Does that mean he or she will be back for the new season? We will wait to until next year to find out, but I am hoping so! That was something they were missing from the last one.
Plus, it looks like Mulder wants his old friend to guest star on the series as much as I do. Well actually looks like he wants it more.
