BTWF: David Duchovny for AT&T
March 5th, 2019 under Before They Were Famous, Uncategorized, X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

Before David Duchovny was an uptight detective in Aquarius, he was a laid back guy using AT&T. How nice is to see him be all preppy when he was 29 in that 1990 commercial?

Is David Duchovny a true Scot?
December 26th, 2018 under X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

David Duchovny’s mother is Scottish, but does the actor take after his mother’s side of the family? I ask this because he put on a kilt for Christmas and we do not know what he has on underneath.

Instead of the is truth out there, we want to know if it is under there. It is an X-File that needs to be solved. Although, my imagination has already done that.

David Duchovny explained booty call to Prince Charles
May 4th, 2018 under British Royals, James Corden, X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’90s, David Duchovny was so popular, he got to sit next to Prince Charles at a concert. That concert included All Saints who performed their hit Booty Call. Well, the future King of England was unfamiliar with the phrase, so the actor told James Corden on The Late Late Show that he had to explain it to him.

How do you that? If you someone who worked in Soft Porn, you describe it as, “It is when a man or a woman calls a man or woman to come to their home late at night for the express purpose of getting together and leaving right afterwards.” All the Prince could say was, “Oh!” Now, imagine if Duchovny described it as he would on Red Shoes Diaries, then Charles would have said, “Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!!!”

BTWF roles: Mitch Pileggi in The Return of the Living Dead 2
March 21st, 2018 under Before They Were Famous, X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

Before Mitch Pileggi was an FBI agent working with The X-Files, he was a Sarge dealing with Zombies in The Return of the Living Dead 2. You can barely recognize the 35-year-old without a beard in that 1988 movie.

The X-Files has It, and an explosive Chicago PD/Fire crossover starts tonight
March 7th, 2018 under Dick Wolf, X-Files. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8p on Fox, The X-Files does their take on It. A young boy goes missing in a small town in Connecticut and then his body is found in the woods. Because his father is a cop, Scully (Gillian Anderson) and Mulder (David Duchovny) are called into investigate. The locals thinks it is an open and shut case because they think an animal did it, but Fox knows it is something more.

He is right because the kids favorite television characters are showing up and they are killing them. But why? Wait until you see the first creepy character, he has been giving me nightmares for days. He makes Pennywise look lovable. It really something you don’t want to miss out on.

Tomorrow night Chicago Fire celebrates its 100th episode at 10p, but the celebration begins tonight on 10p on NBC with Chicago PD. Platt (Amy Morton) is being interviewed live at a local new station at the same time someone decides to blow it up. She is knocked out, but she survives. She tries to help the few survivors there are until Chicago PD and Chicago Fire to help even more.

Once everyone is out, Chicago PD gets their first lead. As they call him out to him, someone put a bomb in his mailbox and it goes off. He is OK and now he is a suspect for the bombings. There’s only one problem, another bomb goes off. Now, Chicago is on high alert and it is all hands on deck to find this person before they kill again.

That is when Voight (Jason Beghe) asks the Chief (Eamonn Walker) if he can use Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Brett (Kara Killmer) to help him distract a suspect in his house so that can put something on his computer. He refuses because he does not want to put them in danger. But you know these ladies will do anything for the job.

That is where tonight’s episode ends and tomorrow night’s begin. And that is when things really get explosive, so you do not want to miss the two-night crossover.
