Will William Shatner play Captain Kirk again?
September 27th, 2026 under Star Trek, William Shatner. [ Comments: none ]

William Shatner has been known as Captain Kirk for over 60 years. He has played the role in several Star Trek television shows and movies, and fans want to know if he will do it again.

The actor released a statement finally answering that question:

In order to put a stop to the rumor mill before it starts producing even more fiction than Star Trek ever did, let me say this:

If someone came up with a meaningful way to bring Captain Kirk back to life, and gave him something genuinely interesting to do that added to the beauty and spirit of Star Trek, I would be delighted to consider it.

But that has never come up.

I love Star Trek just as much as all of you folks do. Kirk has been an extraordinary part of my life, and I would never want to bring him back simply for the sake of bringing him back.

So, until someone comes knocking with an idea worthy of Kirk… I wait. For them. Or for eternity.

Several fans saw that as an opportunity to share their fan fiction with him. To them, he says, “BTW, this👇🏻 is not an open invitations for wanna be writers to submit script ideas to me. That’s not how it works and I don’t accept unsolicited material.”

So unless someone from Paramount comes to him with an idea on how he can be resurrected, Kirk will stay dead unless he is played by Chris Pine or Paul Wesley.

William Shatner is so vain, I bet he thinks that book is about him
August 24th, 2026 under William Shatner. [ Comments: none ]

William Shatner is 95 years old, so he doesn’t have the time left to read epic novels. And he should only want to read books that interest him.

Therefore, he was seen reading his biography, published by the children’s publisher Little Golden Books. The 24-page book checks all of the above for him and us. So for just $3, you can purchase it from his website.

Shatner might be an open book, but I am sure we can learn a lot about him in those two dozen pages.

William Shatner’s secret to making it to 95
March 22nd, 2026 under William Shatner. [ Comments: none ]

William Shatner turned 95 today, and he celebrated with a cigar. There is a reason why he did so.

Captain Kirk’s secret to living long and prospering is this: “At 95, I’m still smokin’! 😝

“I’ve learned two things:

“Never waste a good cigar.
“Never trust anyone who says you should ‘act your age.’ 😉👍🏻”

Since he has not been beamed up yet, I will listen to his lesson. However, I will have to avoid the cigar thing because I hate the taste of them.

William Shatner reports to doody

William Shatner is 94, and he is still going strong. What is his secret? Raisin Bran.

Therefore, he is getting the word out to all of the youth, who weren’t born when he was doing Star Trek, about how important fiber is to eat.

How is he going to do that? He is starring in a Super Bowl commercial for the cereal. Because we all need to poop after all the shat we eat during the football parties.

William Shatner has a message for Star Wars fans on May the Fourth
May 4th, 2025 under Star Trek, Star Wars, William Shatner. [ Comments: none ]

Today is May the Fourth, a day we celebrate Star Wars. Something that Trekkies, including William Shatner, do not believe in.

So, Captain Kirk has a message for all the Jedi out there. He said, “REMEMBER STAR WARS FANS… WITHOUT THE FEDERATION; YOU WOULDN’T BE HERE! WE ARE YOUR FATHER! May The Fourth Be With You…Love Starfleet!”

And just like when Darth Vader told Luke Skywalker, “No, I am your father,” the Jedi are equally as horrified that they now have to send him a Father’s Day card.

Is it wrong that I wish that one day we can all live long and prosper as one? Granted, I am neither a Trekkie nor a Jedi! I am an Orkan, “Nanu, Nanu!”
