Top Gun: Maverick feels the need, the need for Iceman |

Ever since Tom Cruise confirmed that he was making a sequel to Top Gun, we have all wanted to know if Val Kilmer was going to be in it too. Well, today The Wrap is reporting that Iceman and Maverick will be reunited in the upcoming movie.
The blond actor has neither confirmed or denied the report. In fact, we know very little about Top Gun: Maverick. All we do know is that it began production last week. It is as top secret as whatever mission they are on.
Now that we know that Iceman is going to be in it, what about Goose’s (Anthony Edwards) ghost?

Eminem has had his beefs throughout his career, but there is one that he has wanted to get off his chest since the turn of the decade.
About 9 years ago at some MTV awards show, his trailer was next to 50 Cent’s. Since it was an awards show, he had to change for what he was going to wear on stage. Then he said, “As I was taking off my underwear, I look across in Fiddy’s trailer, right even with me, is Val Kilmer.” Then he added, “And I know he is looking at me, and I know he looked away because he saw me looking at him. I know Val Kilmer saw me naked.”
Even since then he was wanted to get that off of his chest. What I want to know is if the Real Genius thought the rapper’s Top Gun was an 8 Mile? Which could explain why they both have kept it Top Secret for nearly a decade. Or maybe Kilmer just forgot about it, like we forgot he played the Caped Crusader in a Batman movie. Did you remember that?

Val Kilmer confirms he battled throat cancer |

For years, Val Kilmer denied that he had throat cancer, but the actor has finally opened up about his 2-year battle with the disease. He told The Hollywood Reporter that his faith as a a Christian Scientist helped him get through the diagnosis and the chemotherapy that went along with it. The Real Genius also revealed why he sounds different after his cancer diagnosis. He explains that he underwent a procedure on his trachea and that has left him with a raspy voice and shortness of breath.
How has he changed since being told he has cancer. He says before it, he took things too seriously and now he has a lighter way of looking at things. Although one thing that has not changed for him, is he still desperately wants an Oscar. Hopefully one day he will get that statuette.

Ever since Tom Cruise announced that he was doing Top Gun 2 aka Top Gun: Maverick, Val Kilmer has expressed interest in reprising his role as the Iceman. So much so, he shared this photo wearing a shirt with his character’s face and said, “Still got it… just sayin…” That he does, and I hope they bring him back. It would not be Top Gun without him.

For over a year and a half people have wondered what is wrong with Val Kilmer? The actor has reassured his fans he is OK, but rumors about his health have continued on since his hospitalization in late 2015.
Last week, he finally admitted in a Reddit Q&A that he had cancer. Today, he took to Instagram to explain why he never mentioned the C-Word before then. He wrote, “4 the record: Ive never lied about health. When released fr brief hospital stay I was asked if I have cancer. I don’t. Ive had many healing thru my wild life like broken bone migraine cancer back pain impaired vision-ask me if I’ve a broken bone- I’ll say no cause that was yrs ago.”
What I think he is saying is that when he went in, he had cancer. Then when he got out he didn’t. Which is why when he was asked if he had cancer, in his mind, he didn’t have it anymore so that is why he said he didn’t have cancer. Which makes sense.
