Tom Selleck hints at a new Three Men and a Baby movie!
December 31st, 2013 under Arsenio Hall, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Tom Selleck was recently on Arsenio Hall’s talk show and the late night host asked him about a movie he made with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg called Three Men and a Baby. Then Magnum PI told him that Disney is working on a script for Three Men a Bride. So would he do it? He said, “That show (movie) was so good to me, I don’t want to rip the audience or the show (movie) off unless they can do something really good. But if they write a good script, I’m game.” And I’d be game to see it if they make it. Who didn’t love Three Men and a Baby and Three Men and Three Men a Little Lady? So imagine how sweet it would be if we got to see her be a bride?
Plus maybe we will get another ghost story from the set???

Tom Selleck is so sexy even dogs want to kiss him!
November 18th, 2013 under Jimmy Fallon, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Tom Selleck was on Late Night yesterday and Jimmy Fallon asked him about his first acting job. So Magnum PI told him it was with a dog and a trick the trainer told him to do to get the dog to pretend attack him. Well fast forward to this year and once again he had to work with a dog on Blue Bloods. When they went to rehearse the scene the big pup put his paws on Commissioner Reagan’s chest and went in for a kiss. Everyone thought it was puppy love at first sight, but turns out it wasn’t. This trainer likes to put food in his mouth to get his pooch to do what he wants. So turns out man’s best friend was not licking Tom’s lip for a kiss, but he was doing it to get some food. What we got out of this tail, I mean tale, is a cute story and even cuter picture.
Selleck also revealed some secrets about how they film the dinner scenes on the CBS drama that airs on Friday nights. So listen to what they do and then watch as they do it. You will never watch those family meals the same way.

November 7th, 2013 under Before They Were Famous, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Before Tom Selleck was the Police Commissioner on Blue Bloods, he was studying acting on Bracken’s World. How sexy was the 24 year old in that 1969 episode?

Tom Selleck has a beef with Uggie the Dog
May 11th, 2012 under Conan O'Brien, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Tom Selleck was on Conan yesterday and he told the TBS late night host that he has a huge issue with Uggie the Dog? Why would the world’s most famous mustached man have a problem with a little Jack Russell? Well there is some bad blue blood between them because The Artist pooch beat out his Jesse Stone co-star Joe out for the Golden Collar Award. And you know what he is right because the Golden Retriever is just so darn cute.
I love how Magnum PI is barking mad for his best friend because he didn’t win an award he deserved. It is a side of him you rarely see and I like it.
And tonight at 10p on CBS you can see him as you are used to on the season of Blue Bloods.

Blue Bloods goes where no show has gone before tonight
February 3rd, 2012 under CBS, Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 10p Blue Bloods goes where no show has gone before, as it is the first scripted show to film at the 9/11 Memorial and they do with the utmost respect. Frank Reagan’s (Tom Selleck) former-colleague, who was with him on 9/11 in the North Tower of the World Trade Center, is dying from something that was most likely brought on that day. The Police Commissioner goes through a lot of emotions throughout the episode while his friend is losing his battle with life. It is a side you have not seen from Selleck on the show before and it is so compelling to watch his raw emotion on the show. But none of it is more real than the scene where he visits the 9/11 Memorial. His face emulates what every person who goes down there feels and even the ones who will see it on the show today will feel.
The episode is not only emotional because of Frank’s story but there is also an intensely powerful one for Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and his family. While riding home with his wife and two boys in the car, he accidentally hits someone who runs in front of his car. When he goes out to help him, he realizes that the guy was being shot at and the shooter doesn’t plan on stopping. Bullets are exchanged and one enters Danny’s car. His wife and sons will never be the same and he is determined to find the shooter. His wife Linda (Amy Calson) is at her wit’s end over being that close to a bullet that could’ve killed her or one of her sons that she doesn’t know how to deal with her reaction to it. Eventually Danny will see how it is affecting her and he will make an offer she might not be able to refuse. It is something that will leave you crying and wanting to hug Donnie Wahlberg.
While Blue Bloods does not get the Emmy love it so richly deserves, they got something even better by being able to be the first to film at the 9/11 Memorial. It is an honor that we were given and they give it back ten fold in the best episode of the show’s run so far. So tune in for an episode that will leave you drained from emotion, and it is worth it.
