Before Holly Marie Combs was the one of the Pretty Little Liars’ moms, she was a pretty little girl to Tom Cruise in Born on the Fourth of July. She looks the same now as she did when she was 15 in that 1989 movie.
Were you excited when you heard that Top Gun 2 is finally happening? Well how excited are you going to be when you find out that Jerry Bruckheimer announced the released date for Top Gun: Maverick and it is July 12, 2019. That means we have to wait just over 2 years for this film to take flight.
For a movie that is known for its catchphrase, “I feel the need, the need for speed,” speed is one thing that is not on its side. What is taking them so long to released it? Don’t they know the fans have waited over 30 years for the sequel and they have the need, the need for it to come out like yesterday? Two year is too much to wait for it. Who is with me?
As soon as Tom Cruise announced that Top Gun 2 was happening, Val Kilmer has been very vocal that he would love to be in it. Iceman is not the only one from the 1986 movie who wants to be in the sequel, Anthony Edwards, who played Goose, made a video for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on why he should be in Top Gun: Maverick even though his character was killed off. He says he can play Ghost Goose. But I say if the Roseanne revival can revive Dan, why can’t Top Gun resurrect Goose? We need him like we have the need, the need for speed. Let us start a petition that Goose should not be goosed from the sequel!
Did you hear how hot that make out scene between Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis is in The Mummy? Nope? That is because he killed it on the day they were supposed to shoot it.
Wallis told Conan O’Brien all about it yesterday. She said, “It was a very sad day for Annabelle…I got to set and I was like this is an amazing moment, I am going to tell all my friends, my children all about this kissing scene with Tom Cruise. And I get there and we had 900 crew. And I arrive on set, and I am like, ‘C’mon Tom, it is about to be the best day of your life.’ And then he goes, ‘Yeah, about that, Alex can we have a chat. I’m not feeling that. I am not feeling the kissing scene.'” Therefore, she was rejected by Tom Cruise in front of 900 people. Where is SAG when you really need them to stand up for their actors?
Seriously though, when was the last time he had a kissing scene in a movie? Just asking.
James Corden took his show to London this week and Tom Cruise was also there doing press for his movie The Mummy. The two men decided to hang out and the Late Late Show host has a fun filled day planned for them. The CBS host reworked a tour boat to be full of iconic moments from the actor’s movies throughout his career for the patrons to take part in. Once they got to Cocktail everyone was in Kokomo heaven.
While the cruise was only for the show and not a real thing, if it actually became a real thing they would all be saying, “Show me the money!” That is because it would be flowing in like the water below them. It would be anything but a risky business.
