Tom Cruise was filming a scene from his new film Jack Reacher in front of the Empire State Building yesterday and for some reason he was looking up towards the sky. I don’t know why he was doing it, so I made it up the scenario that he was having a fake conversation with his much taller wife Katie Holmes. Either that or someone said to him, “What’s up?”; so he looked up instead of saying what is new with him because he didn’t get what they meant? Why do you think caught his attention?
Tom Cruise filmed a scene of Mission Impossible III from the top of the World’s Tallest Building and before he was done he left his make on it. He told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show that he wrote Katie Holmes and his three kids names on the side of Burj Khalifa. So if you are Dubai and get to the top of that building look out for Tom’s signature move.
BTW I love that Mr Chin called Cruise out on being afraid to go out into space, but he’s not too scared to sit on the top of building that’s over a mile high as a helicopter flies near him. Going into space sounds safer.
Tom Cruise is playing Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages and he posed as his character for W Magazine. The normally vanilla actor was anything but as he posed with his hands as devil horns and his tongue stimulating going down on a woman between them. But it didn’t stop there, Katie Holmes’ husband was photographed lying in bed with two women, one of which is topless. I think that is the first time we have seen him with a naked boob on him since All the Right Moves and I am not sure this photoshoot was a Top Gun move for him. Actually I think he was so miscast as the lead in the cheesy musical, but that movie seems more about casting names than people that should be playing the roles.

The second trailer for Rock of Ages is out and I want to see that movie even less when it comes out on June 15th; and I never wanted to see it at all in the first place. It just looks like it is so over the top that it will be a huge unenjoyable mess. I didn’t think you could make ’80s hair bands even more cheesy than they already are, but Adam Shankman’s take on their music makes them so cheesy even cheeseheads wish they were lactose intolerant.
Now on to the cast, doesn’t Russell Brand look like Joan Jett with a beard, and I am not sure who should be more offended by that? I wonder if it is because of Julianne Hough’s two box office duds that that is why her face time in the second trailer was dramatically cut down? Chances are her third film won’t do any better than Footloose and Burlesque did. And when it comes to Tom Cruise, I don’t want to talk about it because I am trying to block it out from my memory.

Katie Holmes was walking around in NYC when a gust of wind blew her hair over face. Instead of looking like that cute Joey we knew on Dawson’s Creek, she looked more like the third bearded member of ZZ Top. I wonder which her husband Tom Cruise prefers?
