Three years ago, Dancing with the Stars screwed up huge time when they fired Tom Bergeron and replaced him with Tyra Banks. Even he was not a fan of their decision
So how does Tom Bergeron feel about the new hosting duo? He said, “Glad the show’s in good hands. Their feet ain’t bad, either 🪩😉👍🏼” Since both of them won the Mirrorball trophy at least once, he’s not lying.

I feel the love. Something that has been missing on DWTS since Tyra Banks entered the ballroom. I am so happy it is back. Not enough to watch again, but still, it is nice!
Two years ago, Dancing with the Stars wrongfully fired Tom Bergeron as the host. For some reason, they thought that Tyra Banks would make a better choice. They were wrong.
Now that the show has a new home on Disney+ starting on Monday, the dancing competition asked Alfonso Ribeiro to co-host with the unlikable model. And he said yes.
The Dancing with the Stars winner has already taken one of Bergeron’s jobs. So, how does the former America’s Funniest Videos host feel about him taking another one of his gigs? Today, Bergeron tweeted, “Couldn’t be happier for my friend. Break a leg next Monday @alfonso_ribeiro (perhaps there should be a better ‘good luck’ idiom for a dance show 🤔😉)”
To which the Tap Dance Kid responded with, “Thanks Tom. Hope to make you proud.” I am sure he will.
And hopefully, Bergeron will get another job soon that Ribeiro can replace him on in a few years.
Today, Disney+ announced who will be hosting Dancing with the Stars this season. And Tom Bergeron, who is not returning as one of the hosts, had an announcement of his own.
The beloved host has COVID-19. He wrote, “Well, I dodged it for over two years but it finally caught up with me. And I thought I was stubborn… 🤷🏻♂️”
Hopefully, Bergeron will be better by the time DWTS airs. This way, he can diss them in his own special way.
John Davidson and Tom Bergeron have something in common, they both hosted the game show Hollywood Squares. They recently had something else in common; they both were in the North East at the same time.
Therefore, they got together to play Tic-Tac-Toe New England style. Well, I don’t know if the men did that, but they did spend some time reading the book, Backstage With the Original Hollywood Square, about their program written by Peter Marshall, the man they succeeded.
I hope the hosts also discussed bringing the show back with them sharing hosting responsibilities. They could totally confuse the stars in the squares.
I honestly can’t believe with all of the game shows the revived, they didn’t do this one. And no, I don’t count the Country and Hip Hop ones the same thing.
Last summer, we were all shocked when Tom Bergeron announced that he was fired from Dancing with the Stars. Since then, we have wanted him back on our television sets.
Earlier this week, he made a cryptic Instagram post that said, “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.” Of course, everyone assumed he would be returning to DWTS because Tyra Banks is so awful at the job.
Today, he dropped another clue, and it is not DWTS. “I am returning to hosting,” he said. “It’s not going to be a show that I previously hosted. However, it’s very reminiscent of a show I previously hosted.”
Do you think it is like DWTS, America’s Funniest Videos, Hollywood Squares, or Fox After Breakfast? I am hoping for something like Hollywood Squares? ABC needs to bring that back!
