For some reason George Lopez dressed up as a woman for Teen Choice Awards and boy he is an ugly girl. I don’t know if he was trying to look like Snooki, Kristen Stewart or the fourth Kardashin sister, hopefully we will find out why he wore a black short dress tonight on Fox at 8p and it was for a skit on the show. Because if he is a secret cross-dresser, I will start a petition to ban him from shopping in woman’s apparel forever because he is one fugly woman. He is so ugly, he make Khloe Kardashian look pretty and more feminine than normal.
BTW Ken Jeong needs to get some sun because he is whiter than ghost.
TNT announced today that they are renewing the show that NBC cancelled. Southland will begin its 10 episode second season on TNT and third season in total in January.
I have to admit, I have never seen the show but I love when a cancelled show gets a second life like Southland was given one by TNT. My hat is off to TNT for sticking with the show. I hope this sends a message to the networks that one network’s loss might be another one’s gain. Too bad another net didn’t pick up either Moonlight or Swingtown because maybe us fans would still be watching them.
BTW off the top of my head here are some shows that have switched networks…Golden Girls, Taxi, Charles in Charge, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, JAG, Scrubs and now Southland. Some did better on their new channels than others and I am glad most of those show (minus Scrubs and JAG) was given one last chance!
CBS announced today that it has picked up the #1 new show of the season NCIS LA and the well liked The Good Wife for a second season. Both shows have done really well for CBS on Tuesdays, so it is no surprise that CBS is sticking with them.
Also coming back for a second season is TNT’s critically acclaimed show Men of a Certain Age that stars Ray Romano, Scott Bakula and Andre Braugher. Can I tell you I love this show! I am one of the few people that didn’t love Everybody Loves Raymond, but I am loving this show so check it Mondays at 10p on TNT.
Here is something to sing about, Fox is bringing back the most talked about show of the new season, Glee for a second one. As if there was any doubt that they would!
Finally ABC Family had its highest ratings yet for The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Make It or Break It when they had their season premiere last week, so they wasted no time to announce that they will bring them both shows for another season.
All the above shows join the pick ups of ABC’s Wednesday night comedies The Middle, Modern Family and Cougar Town.
