Tonight on Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC at 9p we find out what Jon & Kate Gosselin’s big announcement is. The popular vote is that they are going to announce that they are getting a divorce. While others (like me) are thinking that the two are separating. Many have speculated the split since before this season even began especially since the tabs have claimed that both of them have been having affairs. Since the season premiere aired the two have not been photographed or seen together by the paparazzi. And to make matters worse Jon was rumored to be looking at apartments in Trump Plaza in NY last week. Maybe the family is moving to NY, but I doubt it.
So what do you think their big announcement is and do you even care anymore? Let’s just hope this isn’t a ploy by TLC to get viewers to watch the show because I don’t think any of us will be happy with them if they teased us all week that we were going to get an announcement and we get nothing.
UPDATE: According to People, the big announcement is that they are divorcing. Jon and Kate filed the paperwork to initiate a legal split at the Bucks County Courthouse in Reading, Pa., Monday afternoon. TLC must be so p!ssed that they filed before their big announcement. Life & Style confirmed that Jon is moving to NYC. He will live their during the week and come home to spend time with the kids over the weekend. Hopefully the kids will get through this OK.

TLC just posted this video previewing Monday’s special 1 hour episode on Jon & Kate Plus 8. In it Kate Gosselin says that her and husband are going to make an big announcement. She says, “Recently we’ve made some life-changing decisions. Decisions that will affect every member of our family. Ones that we hope will bring each of us some peace.” Hmmm, I wonder what it could it be? That they are going to try for one more kid? Seriously the fact that the two of them have not been photographed together since the sextuplets fifth birthday, and they spent their 10th anniversary apart…I think we can guess what it is. Although some are thinking it could be that the 2 might end the show to try to save their marriage. I am sure all the tabs will be making their guesses, but we will know the truth on Monday at 9p or 9:50pish when they tell us what it is.
Oh yeah, some are saying that TLC is airing this episode to help get the show’s ratings back up to what they were when the show premiered this season. Maybe they wouldn’t be dropping if each episode wasn’t a plug for one of their other shows. It is no longer about the Gosselins, but what other shows they can plus on it.

Poor Mady (one of the twins) just wanted a little sip of water and when her mom, Kate Gosselin asked someone to throw her some water she took it all for herself. Good for Mady for calling her out on it and saying, “You’re really really mean. You drank it right in front of my face.” That was really mean. Instead of putting the bottle down away from Mady, she should have given her a sip. That is what most moms do, no?
Now you can see why Jon is rumored to be cheating on her.

Lucky for Jon, Kate and their 8 kids are on vacation in NC without him. I guess Jon is really the one on vacation.
BTW I just got into TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 and I have to admit I totally love the show and it has nothing to do with the recent stories about them. It really is a good show.
Mayim Bialik is back on TV tonight, but I am not sure it is exactly what she wants to be recognized for. Tonight on the season premiere of TLC’s What Not to Wear at 9p, they will try to help her Blossom into a better dresser. I can’t wait to see what they do to her!!!
