NBC is changing up their premiere dates |

Since 2020 is all about being sad, NBC is moving This Is Us’ season premiere up two weeks. The melancholy drama is now debuting on October 27th instead of November 10th.
Since it is moving up two weeks, Connecting and Superstore are each debuting a week later. Connecting, the sitcom that is shot via smartphones and Zoom, will now premiere on October 8th at 8p.
Then on October 29th, it will move to 8:30p to make room for Superstore. NBC revealed that America Ferrera will guest star on the first two episodes to wrap up her character. She announced, before the coronavirus pandemic, that she would not be returning to the sitcom this season. Since production was shut down before she shot her farewell episodes, they made sure that Amy will get a proper sendoff.
While they are dealing with a sendoff, Saturday Night Live is dealing with homecoming. They will be returning to 30 Rock for the season premiere. Today, we found out that Chris Rock is hosting, and Megan Thee Stallion is the musical guest.
Got it? Good because I don’t.
UPDATE: Mandy Moore is not only playing pregnant on This Is Us, but she is also pregnant in real life. She revealed on Instagram that “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021 💙” This is the first child for Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith. The two were married in November of 2018.

Some woman, who goes by jchelle36 on TikTok, decided to make an instructional video on how to make tea. First, she filled the cup with tap water, put in the microwave for a minute, then in this order added the milk, the teabag, and finally the sugar.
Well, the British are blowing steam like a tea kettle. When This Morning’s Phillip Schofield saw the video, he became outraged. So much so, he ranted about it on the show this morning with Holly Willoughby.
Who knew making tea would cause an international incident, but it did. Someone call in the United Nations to remedy the situation.
When I sent the anchor’s tirade to my friend in London, she told me, They take their tea very seriously over here.” Too bad they don’t feel the same for coffee. I said it!

Sterling K. Brown’s wife is all of us listening to the Amen theme song |

There have been a lot of great theme songs throughout television history like the one for Greatest American Hero. However, there is one that gets us up dancing every time we hear it, and that is the one for Amen.
The late Andraé Crouch’s Shine On Me just fills you with energy. You cannot sit still whenever it comes on your TVs. Even though GetTV plays it at 6a in the morning, and I cannot even think about getting out of bed.
Don’t believe me that you feel a power go through you when it is on? Look at Sterling K. Brown’s wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe, moving to it. I am so happy he shined a light on her feeling the spirit of the song go through her. Amen!
It is like going to church without leaving the house and listening to the clergyperson preach. Isn’t it?
You know, since Brown’s wife like TV theme songs, maybe she can convince her husband to talk to This Is Us’ Dan Fogelman about writing one for the NBC drama. After all, before he produced the Emmy winning show, he created the musical Galavant. There really is no excuse why This Is Us does not have a better one. Who is with me.

Yesterday, three generations of the Pearsons did a TikTok dance challenge to celebrate wrapping season four of This Is Us. However, there was one member of the cast they did not tell about it.
That poor person is Justin Hartley. His poor face when he finds out is so sad. Sadder than some of the scenes they have give him over the last few seasons. Poor Justin.
