Seven years ago, Tamera Mowry went from actress to one of the co-hosts of The Real. Now, she feels it is time to move on from the daytime talk show and try something new. She broke the news yesterday on her social media because she someone else was planning on breaking it.
For seven years, my home and heart has been at The Real. The friendships that I’ve made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I’ve had the blessing to interview have changed my life for the better. I’m so proud of what all the ladies and I have accomplished there, including two well-deserved NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy. However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real. To my fellow hosts, I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all of me. Sisters forever. I’ll be rooting for you, as I look forward to spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities, and embarking on the next chapter of my life.
She did not say what her next job will be, but there were rumors that she and her twin, Tia, were trying to revive Sister, Sister. I would be up for that.
Mowry is the second person to leave the show this season. Amanda Seales announced she would not be returning for her second season last month. No word who will be joining Jeannie Mae, Adrienne Bailon, and Loni Love. I hope they consider Tisha Campbell to fill one of the two slots. She meshes really well with them. Maybe the fifth person could be a man like Finesse Mitchell. Campbell and Mitchell played spouses on the now cancelled Outmatched, so they already have chemistry together.
Back in April, an orthodox married man I know told me he bought a Fleshlight to get through the coronavirus pandemic. He is not alone. A lot of people have been doing the same. More than normal amount of people who usually buy them. Therefore, it makes sense that the ladies from The Real talked about their recent purchases like The Switch.
Ever since the lockdown happened, Jeannie Mai has been living with her mom and fiance’ Jeezy in the same small house. That makes things a little difficult for the newly betrothed couple. They have to hide their rabbits and such from Mama Mai. However, she keeps finding them, and they have to come up with new excuses for what the toys are that she finds.
Personally, I think they should tell her about some of the contraptions they have. Maybe she will want to own one of them so that she can play with it when they are playing with theirs. Although, no child wants to have that discussion with their mom! No matter how open their relationship is with each other.

Six months ago, Amanda Seales joined The Real alongside Loni Love, Tamera Mowry, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai. Yesterday, she announced that her contract was up, and she did not renew it.
She explained, “It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I cannot speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to, and where the people who are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled.
“I am not in space where I can, as a full Black woman, have my voice, and my co-workers have their voices, and where the people the top are not respecting the necessity for Black voices to be at the top too.
“You see me transform into a way I just can’t function in this place the same way.”
I stopped watching when she joined. She always had to be front and center, and she didn’t let the other women talk. It felt like she brought a negative energy to the daytime talk show.
Seales would be better off doing her own show instead of sharing the table with four other people. Not everyone can work in a group.
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy have some big news to share, they are engaged!
According to People, Jeezy was planning on popping the question in Vietnam this month, but the Coronavirus pandemic ruined his perfect proposal. Therefore, he decided to bring it to her on March 27th. He threw her surprise date night and decorated the house with Vietnamese decorations and cuisine. Then at some point, he pooped the question, and she said yes. Look at that ring, how could you say no?
The couple met on her show The Real in November 2018 and went public in August 2019. This is his first marriage and her second. She was previously married to Freddy Harteis, whom she divorced in 2017.
