Ever since Chris Harrison has been hosting The Bachelor(ette), he has been a married man. Well that is until now because In Touch Weekly is reporting that he has separated from his wife. Gwen Jones and him were married for 19 years and have two kids together.
Now that he is a single man, I wonder if he will be the next Bachelor. Or better yet will he get the Bachelor’s leftovers??? We will have to tune in to find out.
Yesterday was the season finale of The Bachelor and finally after 23 editions of The Bachelor and Bachelorette, the ABC dating show finally got it right. The person seeking love on television choose the only person who will be with them even after the cameras stopped rolling. Ben Flajnik proposed to the show’s host Chris Harrison and we found out his answer on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
I think Ben did the right thing because let’s be real, who thinks he will really wind up marrying the girl he asked to be his wife???
BTW tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight at midnigth, the ABC late night host will be interview Will Ferrell is Spanish only and the segment will be translated so that you and I can comprende what they are saying. And I confirmed with the show’s publicist that Kimmel speaks as much Spanish as I do. I took Espanol in high school and I grew up in The Bronx, went to college in Miami and live in Los Angeles if that gives you any hint….
Tonight is the season finale of The Bachelor, but before he chooses his girl David Spade decided to spoof the ABC dating show on Funny Or Die. If the reality show was as real as that fake bit, I would totally watch it. But until then I will live without the show that has the same success rate as Erica Kane did on All My Children.
Chris Harrison was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night host asked him if he was shocked by how many men watch The Bachelor(ette). Well the reality show host said that when the manliest of men confessed that he watches the show, he was honestly amazed. Harrison told Kimmel he met Clint Eastwood and the Oscar winner told him he watched the show. Harrison didn’t know whether he should “be sad that his hero is watching such a show.” He then added what he was thinking about their chance meeting and the little ditty that he shared with him, “‘But you’re Clint Eastwood, you can’t watch that crap. You’re better than that.’ But he’s a fan.” I wonder if ABC is still a fan of Harrison’s after he admitted that show he has been hosting since 2002 is “crap”?
Now back to Eastwood and his dirty little secret, yes the fact made my day but it also destroyed any image I once had of Dirty Harry. What do you think of him being a fan of the ABC reality show?
