Is Mary Steenburgen ageing back to the past?
March 12th, 2013 under Remember?, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: none ]

WENN.com
Mary Steenburgen came out for the ATAS’s 22nd Annual Hall of Fame Induction Gala and I think she looks younger than she did when she starred in Back to the Future 3 in 1990. Seriously if that is what 60 looks like, then I am not afraid of getting older.
I am dying to know what Powder she uses because it probably is her Fountain of Youth! Honestly doesn’t she look fabulous?

Jimmy Kimmel made Ted Danson flip his lid!
December 11th, 2012 under Jimmy Kimmel, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: none ]

Ted Danson was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and he told the ABC late night host that he is mad at him. That’s because Jimmy Kimmel made a joke about the fact that Sam Malone wears a hairpiece and Danson decided to let him know at the beginning of the interview how unhappy it made him. Let’s just say I think Kimmel learned his lesson and I hope that all the other late night hosts out there take note not to make fun of Becker’s bald spot if you ever plan on having him on their show!
Once that awkwardness was done, Danson shared some stories from the set of Cheers and they were even funnier than the show. He told two about Woody Harrelson playing hookie on the set, one involved Ted higher than Felix Baumgartner and the other one he was not involved in. Then there was another story about how he pulled down Woody pants to show off his, well you know, his name and how Harrelson got his revenge on him for doing that. Sounds like the behind the scenes were a lot more interesting and fun when Woody joined the show!!!

Ted Danson clocks in as CSI’s new lead investigator!!!
July 29th, 2011 under CBS, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: 2 ]

Since almost all the attention has been put on Ashton Kutcher replacing Charlie Sheen, we have put Ted Danson replacing that guy (what is his name again?) on CSI on the back burner. Well a day after CBS released a new promo shot for Two and a Half Men, they have now released the first look of Sam Malone as D.B. Russell on the original CSI. I wonder what the D and the B stand for? Sorry it is Friday so I am going for it, Dick and Balls? What do you think the initials are for?
Now when it comes to the picture it looks like he is going to fit in much better than that other guy. Seriously what was his name again? I know he was on Pee Wee Playhouse. Oh it’s Laurence Fishburne, right?
Anyways back to CSI, I have to admit I will be curious to see what Ted Danson adds to CSI when it comes back on CBS on it’s new day and time, Wednesday, September 21st at 10p.

When Laurence Fishburne announced that he was leaving CSI, I had no idea who CBS was going to get to replace him. Well they got someone so much better, because they landed Ted Danson. He was not on my list as a possible replacement, but I think he will be great on the show.
In a CBS press release they describe his role as, “Danson will play the new CSI Supervisor for the grave shift after heading the crime lab in Portland. He comes to the team as they are still grappling with the professional and personal fallout from last season’s take-down of serial killer, Nate Haskell.”
Will he make me watch? You know what I might just check him out because it is such an odd casting choice. We can all check him out on September 21st at 10p when the new boss makes his debut on CSI’s new night!

BTWF roles: Ted Danson on The Amazing Spider-Man
November 6th, 2009 under Before They Were Famous, Ted Danson Mary Steenburgen. [ Comments: none ]

Before Ted Danson was a bartender on Cheers, he was in the military on The Amazing Spider-Man. His face looks the same now as it did when he was 31 in that 1979 episode!
