This week, in honor of The Young and The Restless’ 50th anniversary, The Talk is having different cast members on the show. Today, they had Camryn Grimes, Bryton James, Michael Graziadei, and Christel Khalil on, and Graziadei had a surprise for the CBS talk show and, more importantly, Lauren Carey, his girlfriend.
That is because he wanted to ask the mother of his twin boys, Oliver and Arlo, 18 months, something, so he called her up to the stage. “This is my beautiful girlfriend, Lauren [Carey]. We’ve spent the better half of 10 years together, too many. She’s given me beautiful twins, and I just wanted to do something special for your birthday. So I was thinking, you know, how there is no one on this earth that I would rather grow old and die with. So, I was wondering, Lauren Michelle Carey, if you would marry me?”
What did she say? She said yes! Because what else do you say when you are on national television? Well, that and she loves her baby daddy! Even though she never thought it would happen.
What was going through his mind after she said yes? He told Sherl Underwood, “I really have to pee!”
I have some advice for him. He better make sure to go to the bathroom before he gets to the altar on his wedding day. Because he doesn’t want to end his first kiss with a piss!
Congrats to the betrothed couple! May they only have a lifetime of happiness!
Loni Love has lost 30 pounds, thanks to Sheryl Underwood, and I love why she did it. Why? To have better sex! Did it work?
Since the comedian admitted that on The Talk and not her old show The Real, we did not get the answer. But she wouldn’t admit that without such a massive smile on her face unless she did!
So congrats to Love on losing the weight and having better sex!
Rita Moreno was on The Talk yesterday, and she told a story that was better suited for Soap Operas than a talk show.
The legendary actress started her story by telling the hosts that Jane Fonda, 84, asked her how she feels about sex. Moreno told her co-star, “Oh! Forget about it.”
However, a few days later, when they were filming a scene for Eighty For Brady in a locker room, her pheromones went off. Actually, she didn’t say it as much as she showed us how excited she was to see Julian Edleman in his towel.
And once that scene was done, the Oscar winner told Fonda to ask her that question again.
Moreno might be 90, but I don’t think any man in the locker would come away after a tryst with her able to walk right. After all, she has been with Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando, and those boys don’t have anything on them.
If I make it to 90, I want to be as vivacious as her! And, I don’t believe she is a nonagenarian! Do you?
The Talk has something to talk about today. That is because it was picked up for a 13th season, and all of the hosts, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, and Sheryl Underwood, are coming back!
Morales told the viewers she was getting some breaking news in her ear. The message turned out to be the renewal news that they have all been waiting for.
As soon as O’Connell heard, he took off his jacket and declared it is his lucky one. That it is. Congrats to him and his co-hosts on lucky 13!
Last month, Dr. Oz announced that he was running for US Senate, and today Sony Pictures Television announced that his show will be ending on January 14th. This news was not unexpected because there are laws preventing candidates from hosting TV shows and not giving equal time to the other candidates.
Even though he will not be doing the show, another Oz will be filling in for him starting on the 17th. His daughter Daphne will be co-hosting the cooking show The Good Dish with Top Chef judge Gail Simmons and Next Food Star winner Jamika Pessoa.
“Audiences have been loving what Daphne, Gail, and Jamika have been serving up during their weekly segments on The Dr. Oz Show for years. We have long believed The Good Dish would make an excellent stand-alone series and are delighted to be able to deliver this fresh take on the cooking genre to our station partners and their viewers across the country,” Zack Hernandez, the VP and General Sales Manager of Sony Pictures Television, said to the news outlet.
When it comes to Dr. Oz, I say good riddance. While some of his information was good, he also reportedly spread misinformation about medicine and medical treatments. He also was OK with sending kids back to school during a pandemic because he said it would only kill 2-3% of them in an interview.
