You don’t want to shake Tim Allen’s hands
February 23rd, 2012 under ABC, Talk Shows, Tim Allen. [ Comments: none ]

Tim Allen was on The Tonight Show yesterday and he told Jay Leno how the movie Contagion changed his outlook on washing his hands. After he saw the movie, he couldn’t stop washing them. Then as time went on he wondered how soap makes a difference, so he kept asking people. Finally someone told him that all it does is just slide the germs off. So he stopped washing his hands after that. So on that note if you ever meet him, I wouldn’t shake his hand because he hasn’t washed it after he shook something else.

OMG Abby Lee Miller is actually dancing!!!
February 22nd, 2012 under Lifetime, Talk Shows. [ Comments: 10 ]

Abby Lee Miller was on The Wendy Williams Show today and the dance teacher taught the host how to dance. But unlike Dance Moms, Abby Lee actually danced with her student. Now that I have finally seen her dance, I would like to go back to not knowing what it looked like when she danced. Really did I need to know what it would look like if Jabba the Hut slinked her way into a body roll? I just can’t get that image out of my head. It is like it is burned in my eyes and it won’t get away.
That isn’t the only horrifying thought going around in my head right now. I also pictured how Abby Lee uses that pink bat when she listens to a certain Billy Idol song, you know Dancing with Myself… What you know you thought it too?
Now over to Dance Moms, who else besides me is not liking the fake drama this season with Jill and Cathy? The Candy Apples thing is so last season and needs to end. When it comes to Jill, the tension she has added to the show makes me tense. It really makes me so uncomfortable, I have considered giving up my guilty pleasure because of it.

Jay Leno disses NBC
February 1st, 2012 under Talk Shows. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 1:45 in)

Yesterday Mark Harmon was on The Tonight Show and Jay Leno asked him if he ever took an acting job just for the money. The NCIS star admitted that he did and it was to appear on Battle of the Network stars back when he was on NBC show called St Elsewhere. After they showed a clip of Harmon destroying his competition in a swimming challenge, the NBC late night host said “That shows you how long ago that was, that’s when we had stars on NBC. It’s amazing.” Ouch. That’s not true, NBC has stars. There is Courteney Cox, oh wait she is on ABC. They have Ted Danson, not that is every other network but NBC. They have David Letterman, nope that is CBS. They have Whitney Cummings, sadly she is on NBC. Maybe he is right?
BTW I really wish the networks would bring back Battle of the Network stars. Although I am sure The CW would kick all the other network’s a$$es.

Thank you Regis Philbin
November 18th, 2011 under Talk Shows. [ Comments: none ]

Today was a sad day on television because Regis Philbin signed off forever from Live with Regis and Kelly, a show he has been part of for 28 years. Morning television will never be the same without him and we will all miss waking up to him. Cause admit it at some point we all did.
So Regis thanks for all the laughs and memories and we can’t wait to see what you do next!

Oh and yesterday I learned something I never realized, but Jimmy Kimmel pointed out Regis’ name rhymes with something that only men have. How did I not know that?

David Letterman gives Regis Philbins a big, wet kiss on the lips!
November 17th, 2011 under David Letterman, Talk Shows. [ Comments: none ]

(kiss at 11:45)

David Letterman was a guest on Live with Regis and Kelly yesterday and as a going away present he gave him a big, wet kiss on the lips! It was so wet both men were seem wiping their lips after the adoring smooch![
Even though the kiss comes at the end of the interview, I would highly suggest watching the whole thing because it is the funniest I have seen the CBS Late Show host in a really long time! I wish he was relaxed more like that on his show because then maybe I would watch.
Now I will admit I don’t watch Live, but even I know what a huge loss Regis Philbin leaving the show tomorrow will be. I am sure he will land somewhere we can still enjoy him. Maybe Larry King and him can do a show together?
