So You Think You Can Dance is back tonight!!!!!
May 24th, 2007 under SYTYCD. [ Comments: none ]

Seriously I think is my favortie reality show! I just love dancing and this show has it all!!! In fact last year I learned there is a difference between East and West Coast Hip Hop dancing, and I finally figured out why I didn’t get West Coast Hip Hop. I grew up with East Coast style!
Anyways that is my favorite dance from last season! Hopefully this season will give us another Benji Schwimmer because that boy can dance and made season 2 as great as it was!
So here is to season 3 of So You Think You can Dance on Fox tonight at 8p! Dance Dance!!!

Want to audition for SYTYCD3?
February 19th, 2007 under SYTYCD. [ Comments: none ]

Fresh off its sold-out, cross-country performance tour, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, last summer’s No.1 hit, begins another search for America’s favorite dancer Thursday, March 1, in New York City. Entering its third season this summer on FOX, the hot series from the producers of AMERICAN IDOL and “American Bandstand” is hosted by Cat Deeley. Producers will travel to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Atlanta in search of dancers who best represent the rhythm of America. Talented dancers who spark the judges’ interest during auditions will be invited to call-backs, where they will work with top choreographers. During the call-back week, the judges will choose the Top 20 dancers who will continue in the competition. The series became a phenomenon in its second season, in which Benji Schwimmer was voted America’s Favorite Dancer and received $100,000, a new car and a contract to appear in Celine Dion’s “A New Day” show at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE will hold casting calls in New York beginning Thursday, March 1; in Chicago on Thursday, March 8; in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 22; and in Atlanta on Thursday, April 5. Casting is open to persons between the ages of 18 and 30 at the time of the audition who are either U.S. citizens, permanent residents of the U.S., or possess a current legal visa allowing them to seek employment in the U.S. without restriction as to employer. SYTYCD’s Cat Deely to host Fox’s New Year’s Eve special
December 12th, 2006 under Fox, SYTYCD. [ Comments: none ]

No Regis? No problem. Fox is looking to one of its own to host its New Year’s Eve special this year, tapping So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley. With American Idol host Ryan Seacrest hosting ABC’s Times Square special, Fox last year brought in Regis Philbin for a one-night gig. But this year, Deeley will emcee the special, which airs live from New York City from 11 pm -12:30 am on Sunday night, December 31. In addition to Fox’s Dance show and an extensive resume from the United Kingdom, Deeley has also recently done stints for NBC’s Tonight Show and ABC’s Good Morning America.

Broadcasting & Cable

I wonder how many people they asked before they settled on her. Seriously what is up with Fox having so many problems finding hosts for their shows.
