The Boys S4 cannot come soon enough
December 3rd, 2023 under Prime Video, Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

Prime Video released the first look of The Boys’ fourth season, and what a season it is going to be.

In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.

I just hate that we are going to have to wait until sometime next year to see it all play out. It is like having a cigarette with no lighter. You need it now, but you can’t have it.

Over the weekend, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Rob Benedict got together for a Supernatural convention from Creation Entertainment, and we got this photo. A photo that has caption me written all over it, so go ahead and do it!

Did a demon take over Jared Padalecki on Celebrity Family Feud?
August 11th, 2023 under Steve Harvey, Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

Jared Padalecki and his family are going to be on Celebrity Family Feud this Sunday, and I think the Supernatural star might be possessed.

Why do I say that? Because he answered a question with just an odd sound as compared to an actual word.

Don’t worry; Steve Harvey doesn’t need to find Padalecki, an exorcist. He was just playing off of his competitor, Pete Holmes, who wasn’t happy with how the judges determine if an answer is on the board.

If this preview is a hint of what the episode is going to be like, then this week’s CFF is definitely going to be a lot of fun.

The Winchesters is dead like, well, is anyone really dead in the Supernatural world?

The CW cancelled the Supernatural prequel The Winchesters after only one season. So the studio was shopping it around to see if it could find it a new home. Over the weekend, there were reports that no one bought it. And today, the show’s producer, Jensen Ackles, confirmed it.

“To all of you who watched, followed, and supported this story, THANK YOU. And to all those who brought this show to life…I couldn’t be more proud of what we all did together,” Dean Winchester wrote. “But as they say…timing is everything. With a massive Network shift coupled with an industry strike…welp… that’s some unfortunate timing. Sleep well dear @WinchestersOnCW…until we meet again. Somewhere down the road. 🙏🏼”

I have a feeling this won’t be the last time we see the Supernatural prequel, mostly because it was better than the original’s final seasons.

The CW cancels The Winchesters and Kung Fu

The CW was bought out by Nexstar, and they want to focus more on unscripted and importing scripted shows. So they are pretty much washing their hands of the shows that came before them.

So far, they only picked up All American and Walker for 2023-2024. And today, we found out that they opted to cancel the Kung-Fu and the Supernatural prequel The Winchesters.

“As we reimagine the new CW, we had to make some tough programming decisions,” the network said in a statement. “We thank our partners at Warner Bros. and the casts and creative teams of Kung Fu and The Winchesters for all their hard work, creativity and dedication.”

The latter is being shopped around. Hopefully, it will be picked up by someone else because it was even better than Supernatural in its later years.

There are only three shows left from the old CW that are awaiting their fate. They are Superman & Lois, All American: Homecoming, and Gotham Nights. It will be interesting to see if any of them get picked up.
