Suits was built around the relationship between Harvey and Mike, and now it is being reported that one of them is leaving if the show gets an 8th season on USA. Variety is reporting that if the legal drama gets an 8th season, which it is close to doing so, Patrick J Adams, who plays Mike Ross, will not be back. Not only he is not returning, neither is his finacee Rachel. It is rumored that Meghan Markle is already a fiancee to Prince Harry, so her departure makes sense.
While I have no qualms about losing the future Princess, I do have a problem with losing Mike. There are four major characters on the show, that it can not live without, and he is one of them. It is hard to picture the drama without him. So much so, I am not sure an 8th season is worth it. What do you think?
Back in July of 2016, Meghan Markle met Prince Harry and her fairy tale dreams became a reality. She started dating the royal and since then have not even been seen together a handful of times and his people only talked about her once.
Now after a year-long romance, she is finally talking about him to Vanity Fair. After she confirmed to the magazine that they are couple, the Suits actress told them, “We’re in love. I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.” Who doesn’t? It is real life Hallmark movie and she should know because she has starred in one where there were literal fireworks. Now she has them figuratively every time they have time to be in the same country.
She also shared with the magazine how her life has changed since he became her Prince Charming, “We’re two people who are really happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people’s perception. Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship.”
Some day, their love story will be told and it will be a movie we cannot miss. An actress will play an actress who gets her fairy tale ending by marrying a Prince and living happily ever after. What female will not wish they were her? I already do.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0v1Ta_OK44 Suits is currently USA’s longest running show and tonight at 10p it celebrates a milestone episode. Even though it is turning 100, the storylines never get old. Granted tonight a lot of old faces come back to haunt the show and not everyone will be alive by the time the final credits role. But I am getting ahead of myself.
Mike (Patrick J Adams) comes up with a way to get Alex (Dule Hill) out of the trouble he is in and he takes his plan to Harvey (Gabriel Macht). Batman and Robin take their idea to Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) and he screws them over. Now, they have to do what they do best and that is come up with a plan to get their original plan back into action. When Rachel (Meghan Markle) finds out what her dad did, she conspires with her boss and her fiance’ to get her dad to do what they want. Will it work? What consequences will there be due to their actions? All I will say is death to someone on the show.
Meanwhile, Louis (Rick Hoffman) has his funniest episode to date when an old flame comes back into his life with an offer he cannot refuse. But that comes after Gretchen (Aloma Wright), who needs more air time, and him have a heart-to-heart that does not go the way she wants.
All of this leads to several loose ends finally being wrapped up and some new ones getting untied like one for Donna (Sarah Rafferty). Plus, you will be saying 💩 almost as they do on the show because there are a lot of shocking moments.
Suits is like a fine wine, it only gets better with time. Hopefully, we will see it go for at least 100 more because I do not want to see it end. Do you?
Gina Torres left Suits and not only did it a leave a hole on the show, it also left one in our hearts. USA Network felt our loss and is looking to give Jessica her own show. During the season 7 finale, that is set to air early next year, we see her forced to enter the dirty world of Chicago politics. She will ask her New York friends to help her out. In turn, we will help USA decide if we want to see more of her all by herself in the Windy City.
But it is still early on in the seventh season of Suits and tonight sees a lot of turmoil going on at Pearson, Specter and Litt. Mike (Patrick J Adams) said he dropped the case of prison abuse but he did not. Alex (Dulé Hill) is afraid he is going to lose his client over the case, so he confronts Harvey (Gabriel Macht) over it and now Specter has to decide what to do. Will he choose Mike’s side or Alex’s. Leaving the other two to take matters into their own hands while he makes up his mind.
Then there is Louis (Rick Hoffman) who is being sued for sexual harassment. He will do anything to get the case dropped, and he might go too far. That is until he gets advice from an unlikley person and it might be enough to save his butt.
All leading to confrontation that makes one of the lawyers question another one’s motives.
Can’t say this enough, but Suits gets better with each episode.

Last week’s episode of Suits on USA showed us that everyone at Pearson Specter Litt hated everyone else and tonight at 9p it gets ever worse.
Everyone is more divided than ever and it will cost them when Alex’s (Dule Hill) old firm tries to steal Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Louis’ (Rick Hoffman) clients from under them. The rival firm is doing such a good job at it, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) wonders who is feeding them information. She thinks it is a former employee, so she sends Rachel (Meghan Markle) in to confront that person. Only problem is, it is not that person. Who it is will surprise the sh!t out of you. Therefore you don’t want to miss tonight’s episode because it is another game changer that propels the series even further.
Did I mention that Mike (Patrick Adams) and Rachel also make a decision about their wedding?

Then at 10p on USA, Jessica Biel makes her return to TV in The Sinner. Cora Tannetti (Biel) is your average housewife and mom of a young son, until one day at the beach changes everything. When a song comes on the radio and she sees a couple making out, it awakens something that was dormant in her. She suddenly grabs the knife, stands up, walks over the couple and kills the man.
No one including her, her husband (Christopher Abbott) and the detective (Bill Pullman) assigned to the case know why she did it. Each episode will give another clue into why and reveal a past that no one, even Cora, herself knew about until now.
The Sinner is a murder mystery, but not as in who did it but why they did it. Causing you to be on the edge of your seat wanting to know more as each minutes passes.
