Is Mark Hamill, Sebastian Stan’s father?
November 30th, 2017 under Sebastian Stan, Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

You know how Darth Vader tells Luke Skywalker, “I am your father” in Empire Strikes Back? Looks like Sebastian Stan wants to hear those four exact words from Mark Hamill.

People have been saying that Avenger’s Winter Soldier looks a lot like Hamill when he did the first three Star Wars movies, and that he should play young Luke if need be. So much so, Good Morning American asked the young Jedi to record a video for Hamill and I think the older Jedi might have some explaining to do. Like where was his lightsaber back in 1981 when Stan was conceived? Cause they really do alike. Don’t you think?

Watch these Star Wars fans lose their 💩 over Mark Hamill!

Disneyland recently added a Star Wars tour to their park and yesterday some fans got a surprise before they went on the ride. The tour guide said their was one more passenger, who the force is strong with, that would be joining them. That passenger was none other than Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill, himself. As soon as he walked in several of those fans, lost it. They could not believe he was in front of them, and that is so sweet.

Even though that cast has starred in the biggest franchise on Hollywood history, they are still very humble and love their fans. Which is good for all around.

The lame name they gave the Han Solo spinoff movie

Ron Howard finally announced the name of the upcoming Hans Solo movie and it is…Solo: A Star Wars Story. Solo? Why not Han Solo? Or just Han? But Solo? Solo means “a thing done by one person unaccompanied.” Does that mean it will just be Han Solo? No, Chewie and more are in it.

I do not know why the name Solo bothers me so much, but it does. Do you hate the title as much as I do?

Carrie Fisher’s dog watches his late mom in The Last Jedi trailer
October 10th, 2017 under Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

When Carrie Fisher died suddenly last year, we wondered what will happen to her best friend Gary. Thankfully, he was taken in by her assistant and looks like his furent keeps Princess Leia in their lives. Yesterday, when the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi came out, the new best friend made sure that Gary saw it. Then we got to see the faithful companion see his mom again. And with that our hearts break for the pooch who you can tell misses his mommy even more than we do. And we still really miss her.

The force is strong with J.J. Abrams again
September 12th, 2017 under JJ Abrams, Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Star Wars announced that it was parting ways with Colin Trevorrow as the director of Star Wars: Episode IX and today they announced his replacement. They said, “J.J. Abrams, who launched a new era of Star Wars with The Force Awakens in 2015, is returning to complete the sequel trilogy as writer and director of Star Wars: Episode IX. Abrams will co-write the film with Chris Terrio.”

I do not know why he did not direct Star Wars: The Last Jedi and this movie in the first place? He did a great job with the Episode VII, so I do not know why they decided to try other people. Especially since Disney seems to be having a problem with directors directing their movies? Abrams is one of the rare ones, with a penis, that seems to be getting it right for them.

How do you feel about Abrams coming back to direct the final Star Wars movie?

UPDATE: Due to the change of directors, Disney announced that Star Wars: Episode 9 will be delayed 7 months. Instead of coming out in May 2019, it will be released on December 20, 2019. Which makes more sense to me because it should be a Christmas release.
