Hey all of you Star Wars fans, mark your calendars for December 18, 2015 because that is when Star Wars Episode VII is coming out. How excited are you to see the seventh film in the franchise and the first produced by Disney?
When I asked my friend, who camped out for the last three, when he was going to camp out for this one; he told me he wasn’t going to do it this time around because they have to win his trust back. I am sure he is not alone.
When it comes to me, let’s just say I am the only person who liked Jar Jar Binks. Translation, I see the movies once and I am done. So I have no urgency to see the movie in theaters and I’ll probably will until it is on out DVD like the last 3.
Conan O’Brien is like most people and he wants to know at least one secret from Star Wars Episode VII. So when Harrison Ford was a guest on his TBS late night show tonight, he brought out the big bucks to get Han Solo talk. The red head took out ten $100 bills and they were all Indiana Jones, if he revealed something about the upcoming movie. So did Conan get his money worth? You will just have to watch the very funny interaction between the two to find out.
Let’s just say talk shows haven’t been paying Indiana Jones enough for his liking to go there and do that “sh!t”. Yes folks, celebrities are paid a small fee to appear on talk shows.
Almost two years ago Harrison Ford was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and his ex-friend Chewbacca sneaked in to see him to make a mends. But Han Solo kicked him out, telling him he never wanted to see him again.
Well yesterday Indiana Jones was once again on the ABC late night show and Chewbacca came back. To say Ford didn’t take it so well, would be an understatement. As soon as he saw the man who caused his ex-wife to still cough up hairballs, he called him a Son of a Bitch. When the Wookiee pleaded to let bygones be bygones, it only led to Ford being so upset he walked out of the interview. I guess once you stab him in the heart with a light saber, he will never forgive the person/Wookiee who did that to him.
Hopefully they can end this feud before they film the next Star Wars movie, that is if either one of them is asked to do it.
Now in Chewie’s defense, Ford was already in a bad mood. Right before the question and answer section Kimmel rubbed the fact that he scored an out of the park home run in a game he played, while Harrison couldn’t pitch a ball all the way to home plate from the mound. When you watch the video below, you can see how awkward it was between the actor and the host. So it wasn’t like Chewbacca had a chance.
Harrison Ford was on The Late Show and David Letterman asked him if he is going to be in the next Star Wars. Then Han Solo asked the CBS late night host to drop that line of questioning because it is a sensitive topic for him. That’s because for a long time they haven’t asked him to be part of it. You can tell that he is really hurt by that, at least I think that is his hurt reaction because he really doesn’t show any.
Seriously how can you have a sequel to the Star Wars trilogy and not have him in it? May the force be with Han Solo.
Star Wars’ Luke Skywalker and Star Trek’s Sulu are uniting for a very important cause, they are bring their Star power together to appear on ABC’s The Neighbors next month. Tom Jo who plays Reggie Jackson on the sitcom that airs Wednesdays at 8:30p Tweeted a picture of Mark Hamill and George Takei together and we learn that they can get along. So take that William Shatner and Carrie Fisher? You know when the show comes back next season maybe they can bring peace to those mortal enemies. But until then we get a glimpse of the two Star worlds uniting as one and not just because J.J. Abrams is the luckiest geek on planet earth!
