When it was announced that Disney was going to make 3 new Star Wars films, I am sure I am not the only one who was hoping that J.J. Abrams would direct at least one of them. Well the man who brought us Felicity gave us some news that was as devastating as that horrible haircut she got. According to The Hollywood Reporter he told Empire Magazine, “There were the very early conversations, and I quickly said that, because of my loyalty to Star Trek and also just being a fan, I wouldn’t even want to be involved in the next version of those things.” Then he added, “I declined any involvement very early on. I’d rather be in the audience not knowing what was coming, rather than being involved in the minutiae of making them.”
So now that he is out, it will be interesting to see who will get their dream job.
George Takei has one of the most recognizable voices in the world. So it seems only appropriate that he would read from one of the most famous books in the universe, right? Sulu read some excerpts from Fifty Shades of Grey and Oh my I will never be able to read the books the same way. I will be picturing Matt Bomer as Christian Grey with Takei’s voice and there is something so very wrong about that.
So why did the Star Trek actor decide to read from the erotic novels, to promote his own of course! His book Oh Myyy! (There Goes The Internet) is available now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble to read when his words whenever you want as compared to hearing them like we normally do.
Here’s an early Christmas present for all of you Trekkies, the second trailer is out for the Star Trek Into Darkness. I have no idea what the film is about, but I do know I can’t wait to see with when it comes out on May 17th.
I am not a big fan of Star Trek, but I actually enjoyed what J.J. Abrams did with the first one.
J.J. Abrams was on Conan O’Brien’s TBS late night show yesterday and he shared the first exclusive clip from Star Trek: Into the Darkness. All I have to say is don’t blink or you will miss it and you don’t want to miss the big reveal. It is so good that I think that J.J. is on fire with his first movie sequel!

The original Spock and the man who played him in the reboot met up at the opening of Red and I think that is scary how much they look alike. Seriously if you didn’t know they were not related, wouldn’t you think that Leonard Nimoy was Zachary Quinto’s dad? J.J. Abrams definitely did an excellent job by casting the Heroes star in the Star Trek reboot because it’s like he is Nimoy’s clone. You know what whose to say that the Fringe division didn’t clone Belly to create Quinto?
