Say a prayer for Jimmy Kimmel
June 21st, 2007 under Jimmy Kimmel, Sick Bay. [ Comments: none ]

My favorite night time talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was rushed to the hospital yesterday for an emergency appendectomy according to TMZ. He spokesperson said he “is resting comfortably and is looking forward to getting back to work.” ABC also confirmed that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” have been canceled until Kimmel recovers.” No word if Guillermo performed the surgery or if Cousin Sal was looking to see what Kimmel left him in the will just in case.
Please say a prayer with me that he is better by the time Paris Hilton is released because we need Jake Byrd and him to cover the release like no one else will.
Get well Jimmy Kimmel!!!

John Ingle needed General Hospital doctors on Friday
June 19th, 2007 under Sick Bay, TV Soaps. [ Comments: none ]

The patriarch of General Hospital, John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine) passed out at the Daytime Emmys according to TV Guide. John Ingle who is 79 says he is doing better now, "After a day of rushing around and not eating Friday afternoon, I felt dizzy as I entered the foyer of the Kodak Theater for the Daytime Emmys. Before I knew it, I was looking up at the paramedics, who soon took me to a local hospital for overnight observation. I was able to go home the following day after the doctors gave me a thorough examination with a clean bill of health. I appreciate everyone's concern and I look forward to heading back to the GH set on Thursday."

I can tell you that I while was walking up the red carpet with my friend, that the paramedics rushed past us and told all of the carpet to enter the Kodak Theater but they did not tell us who passed out.  It was extremely hot on the red carpet especially considering everyone was in gowns and because it was about the time that show was about the start it was really crowded which did not help things. I am glad he is doing better and it was nothing too serious.

Farah Fawcett’s cancer has returned
May 16th, 2007 under Sick Bay. [ Comments: 1 ]

The National Enquirer is reporting that Farah Fawcett's cancer has returned and The Insider confirms it. NE is says that she recently went to the doctor's office and they found another malignant polyp. They have opted not to remove it because they don't want to spread the cancercous cells. They will instead place a small metallic seed in the cancerous area that will emit radiation and hopefully destroy the polyp. Hopefully she will beat this cancer like she did the last one.
