https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Hnj4tBJZQ/?igshid=1e05rh6ficffu Seth MacFarlane might be a 46-year-old man, but that doesn’t stop him from admitting when “That is f*cking good Shirley Temple.”
Just when I think I can not love him any more than I do, he does something like this. Why can’t we all admit, it is really f*cking good. I love drinking Shirley Temples. I don’t care how old I get, it is just the perfect cocktail. Plus, the bartenders always get a kick out it when I order one.
I read somewhere the alcoholic version one of is called the Shirley Temple Black. I have yet to try one with Vodka, but it is on my to-do list.
Back to my love of MacFarlane. A year ago, I adopted my cat from a rescue group whose building his family funded. I did not know that until six months after I rescued her, and I have been grateful to the MacFarlanes ever since. Heaven on Earth was the best shelter I visited and Perry’s Place is such a welcoming place. Although, some days like today, I think of returning her. I never would, don’t worry.
Sorry, I digressed. MacFarlane is a very charitable man. You might not think that after watching his shows, but he has a big heart. Perry’s Place is just one of the things he donates his money to.
It is time for us all to be a little more animated again because Fox Sundays are back doing what they do best. Making us laugh with their animated shows.
The Simpsons start it off at 8p. Homer and Bart go viral and they become the biggest thing on the internet. How will they handle their newfound celebrity status? How long until they mess it up?
Talking about messing things up, perfect student Lisa gets in trouble tonight. So much so, she is sentenced to detention. When a corporate entity buys detention, Lisa decides to fight it. Because that is what she does.
The Simpsons, at 31, might be older than a lot of their viewers, but this show never gets old.

Then at 8:30p, we get to meet Bless The Harts. This is not an easy show to describe, but it is a show about family.
Jenny Hart (Kristen Wiig) lives with her mother Betty (Maya Rudolph) and daughter Violet (Jillian Bell). As if three women living together in tight small house, struggling to pay bills, is not hard enough, her boyfriend also lives with them.
That is enough to make Jenny go crazy. Instead, it makes the girl from High Point, NC have conversations with Jesus. That Jesus.
Maybe one way to describe it is King of the Hill meets Bob’s Burgers.

Which gets us to Bob’s Burgers that moves to 9p. Bob decides to do something very special for Linda for their wedding anniversary. Since he never bought her a ring when they got engaged, he decides to give her one now. He does not want her to find it, so he hides it in a secret place.
However, it is not that secret because their children find it. Gene decides to try it on, and it gets stuck on his finger. It does not want to come off, so he decides it leave it on when they go to the water park,
What happens to your fingers when they are wet for a long period of time? They get skinnier and the ring falls off. Since they were all over the park, they have no idea where it fell off.
Will they be able to find it or is Bob’s romantic gift lost forever? You will want to tune in for a very sweet episode.
Finally at 9:30p, the night is not over until the fat guy sings and Peter Griffin is singing on Family Guy
tonight.
But first, he has a heart attack when his bosses reveal that someone is going to be fired at work. Turns out it was just a panic attack, but it is way a really bad one. His doctors tell him to get some relaxation, so he goes on a cruise with several Soft Rock singers from the ’70s like Kenny Loggins and Hall & Oates.
Everything is going fine until their perfect cruise turns into the Posideon Adventure. If you have never seen that movie? Where have you been because there are three versions of it? Sorry, now four!
Anyways, out of all of tonight’s episodes, this one had me laughing the hardest. In fact, it is the funniest sitcom episode of the week on broadcast. I know this because I saw them all except Mom and Bless This House.
Seth MacFarlane announced today that his live-action show The Orville will be moving from Fox to Hulu for its third season late next year.
The show creator explained, “My friends at the network understood what I was trying to do with this series, and they’ve done a spectacular job of marketing, launching and programming it for these past two seasons. But as the show has evolved and become more ambitious production-wise, I determined that I would not be able to deliver episodes until 2020, which would be challenging for the network.
“So we began to discuss how best to support the third season in a way that worked for the show. It’s exactly this kind of willingness to accommodate a show’s creative needs that’s made me want to stick around for so long. I am hugely indebted to Charlie Collier and FOX Entertainment for their generosity and look forward to developing future projects there. And to my new friends at Hulu, I look forward to our new partnership exploring the galaxy together.”
I think this is a good move for the show. There is so much more they can do on a streaming site than they can on broadcast. That and they will give him the time he needs to make this the best show possible. For example, he was editing the finale up until right before it aired. Not that it showed on air. Plus, I am assuming they can cuss now. Something a show like this needs every now and again.
When it comes to The Orville. I am not a fan of space shows like Star Trek. However, I love this show. It is the perfect mix of Sci-Fi, drama, heart and Seth MacFarlane. What more do you need?
When it comes to what will replace it, Fox has not said. I am sure a reality show, but you never know they still owe is Cosmos season 2.
Last week, Fox renewed The Simpsons for two more seasons. Today, they renewed the two other animated comedies. Family Guy can now vote because it is going into its 18th season. While Bob’s Burger is serving up its 10th season.
All three shows deserve to be back because they are enjoyed by kids of all ages including me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvbXdsQevC8 The Simpsons turn the big 3-0 tonight at 8p on Fox. In honor of the milestone, they do a couch gag that shows an iconic scene from all 30 seasons. It will remind how great this show has been during all of these decades.
Now it is time to talk about the episode. Bart gets into a really bad accident, says that he died and came back. His story gets out there and a Christain film company wants to do a movie about his experience. Homer and Flanders produce the film that will either star Gal Gadot or Emily Deschanel as Marge Simpson. Can this biopic get made without any complications? Of course not which is why we love this animated sitcom so much.
Then at 8:30p, Bob’s Burgers celebrates its 150th episode. Boyz Four, think One Direction, loses a member and they are holding auditions to replace him. Tina goes in disguise to try out and to find a cute boy she saw. While looking for him, she finds another cute boy and another one. Each has their song. If you are going to get this milestone than it is something to sing about and they are singing.
Then at 9p, Brian gets married on Family Guy. Brian wants to meet the perfect woman for him, but the only thing is that she has cancer. When she finds out it terminal, Brian offers to marry her. The two become Quahog celebrities when Tom Tucker features them on his show.
I have seen every episode of the show and I think the 2-part season premiere might the show’s worst episodes yet. Hopefully, they will get better as the season goes on because foRel is going to need it.

Over at CBS at 8:30p, Miles gets a friend request that will change his life forever on Gd Friended Me.
Miles (Brandon Micheal Hall) grew up with a father (Joe Morton) who is a reverend. When he was a kid something happened that made him lose his faith. So much so, he started a podcast saying there is no Gd.
Then he gets a friend request from Gd and he thinks it is a joke. That is until he gets another request to friend someone else. A man who is about to jump in front of a train until Miles stops him.
Miles gets a new friend request for Cara Bloom (Violett Beane). He thinks the writer is in on it, but she swears she isn’t. She needs to write a story and decides to tells Miles’ tale. Now the two of them, who need saving, try to find out why Gd wants to be his friend.
It has been 18 years since CBS cancelled Early Edition, and I have been waiting for them to do a show as good as that one. Finally, they have done it with this show. This is the only new show that a family can watch together. So sit down as one and watch this drama with your loved ones.
