In honor of the 20th anniversary of the movie Wall Street starring Charlie Sheen (remember he did movies) and Michael Douglas, Fox put together this great mash up video with Wall Street’s Gordon Gekko and Family Guy’s Stewie Griffin. Go Stewie!!!
BTW you can buy the DVD for Wall Street on the Fox site and it is pretty reasonable.
Can you believe that Family Guy, the little show that could, is turning 100 on November 4th? A few years ago Family Guy was living only on DVD and Cartoon Networks' Adult Swim, but then us fans showed Fox that we really really really loved this show and they brought it back!!! Now 3 years later Family Guy will turn 100, something none of us including I am sure Seth MacFarlane thought would happen. So here is what the fabulous Fox has planned on that night:
The outrageous antics of the Griffin family show no signs of stopping as FAMILY GUY takes a look back at the funniest and most satiric scenes of the past on a special all-new half-hour tribute THE FAMILY GUY 100th EPISODE SPECIAL airing Sunday, Nov. 4 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. “Stewie Kills Lois,” FAMILY GUY’s 100th milestone episode, will air immediately following the special beginning at 9:00 ET/PT. The FAMILY GUY tribute special celebrates the side-splitting irreverent humor of this fan-favorite animated series by taking a look back at some of the funniest moments, satirical spoofs and music numbers of the past 100 episodes.
In the 100th episode, Lois and Peter go on a cruise, leaving Stewie and the family behind. When Stewie gets upset with Lois for leaving him at home, he vows to carry out a diabolical plan. When Brian challenges him to actually do it, Stewie stows away on the ship, finds Lois and…well, the title of the episode says it all.
TV Week is reporting that if the Family Guy's Star Wars episode did well in the ratings that they would most likely be able to do an Empire Strikes Back one too! How freakin' sweet would it be if they could play out all 6 Star Wars episodes!!! I can't wait to see who they cast as Yoda and Jar Jar Binks!!!
Fingers crossed it will happen because last night's episode kicked a$$!!!
BTW the force was with Family Guy when it comes to ratings!!!
How cool is that poster??? I am not a big Star Wars, but I have been dying to see this episode of Family Guy (that I am sure has given Seth MacFarlane several wets dreams since George Lucas gave him the OK to do it) since it was announced a few months ago!!! Family Guy strikes back on Septemeber 23rd with this two part episode!!!
BTW this poster reminds me of another Fox show that took Star Wars. Here is the clip of That ’70s Show doing it with the adorable Scott Whyte as the evil Darth Vader!!!
