First Lady Jill Biden teaches kindness on Sesame Street
March 22nd, 2022 under Politics, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

Jill Biden is going to appear on an upcoming episode of Sesame Street. When the First Lady of the United States gets there, she is going to teach Gabrielle, Elmo, Tango, and all the little kids who watch an important lesson. That lesson is kindness.

She wants everyone to know what it means to be kind to people, animals, and the environment. Since FLOTUS used some big words, she, along with Gabrielle, Elmo, and Tango, demonstrated what it means. And I think the teacher did a great job explaining the word and its meaning.

So much so, I hope Melania Trump will make sure her big baby Donald watches the episode because the two of them really need to be schooled on the meaning of kindness. After all, they didn’t show any when they were in the White House.

But it is not about them. It is about the new administration and what a positive influence they are on America by being so kind to us.

Mrs. Biden was so kind to everyone on Sesame Street that Elmo wants to have a playdate with his dog Tango and her dog Commander. I can’t wait to see them frolic on the White House Lawn.

Jill Biden is tickled by Elmo!
February 16th, 2022 under Politics, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

Jill Biden knows the way to Sesame Street, so she went to visit Elmo and his new puppy Tango. The First Lady got along with them so smashingly that she told them, “Commander and I are ready for a game of fetch on the South Lawn anytime!”

I can’t wait for their doggy playdate!

I love having love and animals back in the White House! It says more about how the First Family is running the country than anything else.

Are you ready to party with Fraggle Rock again?
January 5th, 2022 under Apple TV+, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: 9 ]

Fraggle Rock is back! So get ready to party with the Fraggles, Doozers, Gorgs, and Silly Creatures beginning January 21st on Apple TV+. No matter how old you are, you are still young enough to enjoy the singing, silly Muppets!

That is why I love Apple TV+ so much. They keep bringing back the happy things from my childhood and adapting them for today, like Snoopy, Harriet the Spy, and this show. I feel like a kid again, and don’t we need to have that pure happiness? Especially now? Watch the trailer, and don’t tell me you didn’t feel your ice-cold heart start to melt. I know mine did, and that is hard to do.

The Muppets get a Halloween special!
May 7th, 2021 under Disney+, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

The Muppets are coming to Disney+ this fall with an all-new special for Halloween called The Muppets Haunted Mansion.

Our favorite furry friends will be joined by celebrity guests (I am rooting for Baby Yoda to join in on the fun) as “Gonzo is challenged to spend one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth.”

The special will also include new music and spooktacular fun. I hope this is the first of many holiday specials we get from The Muppets on the streaming service.

Josh Groban loves trash!
July 23rd, 2020 under HBO Max, Josh Groban, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

Because of Josh Groban’s operatic voice, we think he is a classy guy. It turns out the singer loves trash. So much so, he is singing about it with Oscar the Grouch on HBO Max’s The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo.

You know what, hobo chic works on the Grobs. I think he should make it his new look, and bring his new friend on the road with him (when musicians can start touring again). If they go on tour together, then Oscar the Grouch won’t be as grouchy. That is because he would be making a killing cleaning up all of the garbage left over at a Groban concert. What more does he want? What more do we want? And who knew that trash could sound as good as Groban makes it sound. That voice is far from trashy.
