Mad Men ended on Sunday and Christina Hendricks is already back on our televisions. The much loved red head is going to be on Sesame Street and she is going to teach Elmo about technology. Something Joan Holloway knows nothing about, but Hendricks does. She knows all about lap tops, cell phones, cameras, tablets and eReaders, while only one of those readily available back in the days of Mad Men. Hey kids, can you guess which one that is?
Want to feel really old, ask a kid which item was around the ’60s and see how many of them guess the right answer.
Sesame Street did a parody on The Avengers, and Aveggies wound up ruining the blockbuster. When went to see the movie, we were impressed by all of their powers but maybe we shouldn’t have been. Because as Cookie Monster ate their abilities, they seemed useless.

Zach Galifianakis is on Sesame Street and Murray reworked a nursery rhyme for his guest. Instead of Jack be Nimble, it was Zach be Nimble. Only problem is that the Between Two Ferns host didn’t know what the word nimble means. So Murray had a piranha chase him around and the Hangover star got real nimble, real quick. You know Zach be nimble, Zach be quick…
So now we know how he lost all of that weight, he has been chased by the killer fish for all of these months. Poor Nimble Zach!

Taraji P Henson hosted Saturday Night Live yesterday and she brought Cookie with her. She decided it was time to run a different Empire, so she took over Sesame Street. Let’s just say the sun ain’t clearing the clouds away anymore. Especially for Elmo.
So how does the original Cookie Monster feel about the new one? He Tweeted, “Me finally meet da other cookie monster everybody talk about!!! @TherealTaraji not blue and furry like me imagined.” He better watch out, or he will be the one that is covered only in skin and she’s wearing his blue fur as a fur!
Ed Sheeran took a trip to Sesame Street and he was so happy that he had to sing with some of the locals there. The red head along with Grover, Abby, Cookie Monster, Elmo and Murray jammed together as they rocked out their new tune Two Different Worlds. The song is about differences between life at school and at home, and of course home sounds so much better!
