Before today, if someone asked me who are the most competitive game players on television, I would’ve said either Kelly Clarkson or Jimmy Fallon. Not anymore.
That title now goes to Steve Martin Short. The two of them played Catchphrase against Selena Gomez and Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, and they came to win.
However, they are not very good at games, and they don’t like losing. But they are always funny as they shit talk their opponents and themselves.
It was so much fun to watch them suck that I would love to see them get a game show where they play two people, where they can cheat and badmouth the people they are playing. The object of the game is to beat them. But if you do, you are going to have to face their wrath, so you kind of want them to win.
Selena Gomez will be back solving crimes with Steve Martin Short in Only Murders in the Building on September 9th. But until then (and after), she can be seen at Madame Tussauds in Orlando.
The wax museum recently debuted her newest figure. Her life-size candle is wearing the sexy, red beaded dress she wore to the 2023 MTV VMAs.
What do you think of her wax copy? To be honest, I usually love how spot on they are. However, this time, I had to read the caption to confirm it is the singer.
I can’t put a finger on it, but it looks like this season of Only Murders in the Building is going to be a hoot for Selena Gomez, Steve Martin Short, and more importantly, us.
After their beloved doorman, Lester, dies under suspicious circumstances, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel refuse to believe it was an accident. Their investigation plunges them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond – where the trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters, and the mysterious residents of the Arconia. The trio discovers a deeper divide between their storied city, which they thought they knew, and the new New York evolving around them – one where the old mob fights to hold on as newer, even more dangerous players emerge.
Are the dangerous players, who emerge, the ones they are talking about the new guest cast, or their characters? We will find out on September 9th when the first three episodes drop on Hulu.
It is time to solve for Steve Martin Short and Selena Gomez another suspicious death on Only Murders in the Building, and today, Hulu revealed when the trio will be back to investigate it.

Bobby Cannavale, Renée Zellweger, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, Téa Leoni, Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest, and Jermaine Fowler join the cast this season.
Season 5 debuts on 9/9 with three new episodes, then one new episode will drop every week after that until the season finale.
Meryl Streep joined Only Murders in the Building for season 3. And Selena Gomez was enamored by and in awe to be working with the legendary actress.
That was then. Now, Gomez is treating her like everyone else on the set who doesn’t have Martin in their name.
Case in point. The two filmed a little video on the set for the new season, and Gomez told her, “So you’re coming back for season 5.”
The Oscar winner responded with, “Well, I think it depends on.”
Gomez interrupted her with, “No. No. No. That was not a question.”
With that, Streep gave her co-star a look as though she was Goldie Hawn in Death Becomes Her.
I guess success has gotten to Selena’s head.
Actually, what got to her head is working with comedic icons Steve Martin Short who have worked with her on her comedy skills. And now she can play the big names like Streep.
