Roseanne really wants Rosie O’Donnell’s job on The View
June 29th, 2007 under Roseanne, The View. [ Comments: none ]

Seriously with a post like that it just seems like Roseanne Barr is so copying Rosie O'Donnell's blogging. You know all caps, it doesn't make sense and it just seems like she blogging talking points that she could talk about on The View. I mean she has blogged before that she really wants Rosie's job on The View that I now wonder if she even has a chance of getting it?

Roseanne Barr the leading choice for The View?
April 30th, 2007 under Roseanne, The View. [ Comments: none ]

According to The New York Post, Roseanne Barr is the leading choice to replace Rosie O'Donnell on The View. A source had this to say about Roseanne getting the job, "She's a piece of work, she's a character, she says what's on her mind and she's funny. They're missing strong personalities on that show, and that's what they're going to need if they want to keep it going." But when the asked her people about it, "It's almost like that rumor that spread last month about how she was going to be on 'Desperate Housewives." Other names throw in the hat are Kathie Lee Gifford, Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Bette Midler, Connie Chung and Kathy Griffin. Of that list the only one I like and can tolerate on TV is Bette Midler. I just don't understand why The View feels they need an unlikable unfunny b!tch on the show. People did not miss Star Jones and they are not going to miss Rosie O'Donnell, so why not try a new personality and not someone annoying like the ones they are replacing?

How does Roseanne Barr feel about Tom Arnold after all these years?
November 20th, 2006 under Roseanne, Tom Arnold, Whatever happened to.... [ Comments: none ]

Tom Arnold extended an olive branch to ex-wife Roseanne Barr on Saturday. It didn’t go well. Early in TBS’ live telecast of "Comic Relief" from Caesars Palace, Arnold offered to let bygones be bygones during his appearance from New Orleans. Barr, who has traded insults with Arnold for years since their messy divorce, had other ideas when she took the stage in Las Vegas. "I don’t think we should hang Saddam Hussein. That’s too good for the bastard," she said. "I think he should have to marry Tom Arnold."
