Last week, Sean Spicer finally said, “I quit,” and yesterday Jimmy Fallon showed us on The Tonight Show that he will survive. As in the NBC late night host took the words right out of the White House Press Secretary and had him sing Gloria Glaynor’s huge hit I Will Survive. Too bad they did not get up to this line, “And so you’re back from outer space,” because it would have been interesting to see if he said some of those words during one of the few on-camera briefings they used to have.
It is a sad day for Melissa McCarthy and Saturday Night Live, but a good day for America. Sean Spicer has resigned as the White House Press Secretary after just 6 months. According to The NY Times, he did it because “he vehemently disagreed with the appointment of the New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.” In case you were wondering what his breaking point was, now we know. Obvious lying is OK, but working with this guy not so much.
When it comes to Scaramucci, you have to wonder if his hiring was done to irk CNN? Afterall theww CNNers resigned over a Russiagate story about him that turned out to be false.

Mindy Kaling’s show criticized Newark, NJ and the former Mayor defended his city. Cory Booker then Tweeted to her that he disagreed with that assessment and she Tweeted back, “Senator, if Mindy Lahiri shades it, it means we know it’s cool. Thanks for the ❤. It’s mutual!” As soon as he saw that ❤, he said to her, “You are making my day! Thanks for the clarification. And If the ❤️is really mutual… Come have dinner with me in Newark? #PleaseSayYes ” She did, and he offered to get her a Lyft to take her door to door.

BTW no word if they actually went on their date, but they have some really yummy restaurants in Newark for then to choose from.
Did you know that Barbra Streisand is on the road and one of her stops was Houston? That is pretty shocking, but what is even more shocking is that she met another Barbara before she hit the stage. That Babs is First Lady Barbara Bush and her husband President George Bush. Who would have ever thought that one of the biggest Democrats in Hollywood would be so happy to hang out with a Republican President and his First Lady.
The admiration didn’t stop there. After their green room exchange, she welcomed them to join her on stage. She was more than happy to share the spotlight with them, as she said, “The standing ovation they received when I introduced them from the stage was truly moving.”
I knew we were experiencing Hell on Earth the day Trump was elected President, now it looks like it froze over. What a wacky November.
Sometimes things just leave you speechless. For example, Kim Kardashian added a crying faced Hillary Clinton, President Barack Obama and Donald Trump to her Emoji collection and that leaves me with no words. Well maybe one, 💩.
