Paula Abdul broke her nose

Paula Abdul fell down and broke her nose over the weekend according to Extra TV. Her publicist said that she fell trying to avoid her dog, Tulip. At least Barry Manilow said he bumped into a wall going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I believe that excuse more than hers.
I so can't wait to see what she looks like tomorrow when she does American Idol because you know her nose will still be swollen and her eyes back and blue!!! And you know she will be loopy because of the pain meds.

Jimmy Kimmel Live rides the bus with Paula Abdul and Flavor Flav tonight!
May 15th, 2007 under Flavor Flav, Jimmy Kimmel, Paula Abdul. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Kimmel is taking his show on the road, literally. He will be riding a Big Blue Bus through Santa Monica and actually still be doing the show at the same time. In fact not only will he be interviewing Flavor Flav and Paula Abdul, the bus will continue to pick up passengers and at one point they stop to get something to eat. This show is going to be so funny between the bus ride and the guests!
BTW Jimmy Kimmel declared tonight's show that is on ABC at 12:05a, “At the risk of patting myself on the back, I believe this will be the greatest talk show ever shot on a bus.” I think he is right!!!

An entertainer turns down invite because of Paula Abdul’s erratic behavior?
February 19th, 2007 under American Idol 1-5, Paula Abdul. [ Comments: none ]

Paula Abdul's erratic behavior is keeping organizers of the Nevada Ballet Theatre's Black & White Ball on their toes. At least one major entertainer has declined an invitation to perform over concerns about Abdul's recent train-wreck TV interviews, I'm told. Abdul, the gala's "Woman of the Year" honoree, created a public relations disaster with her slurring and loopy interviews that were intended to promote the sixth season of "American Idol." Instead, she and her reps have been forced to fend off allegations that she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Twice last week, "The View" host Rosie O'Donnell suggested Abdul was drinking before the wacky interviews. Craig Cavileer, co-chair of the Black & White Ball with his wife, Charlene, said Friday that Abdul is "fully committed" to the Nevada Ballet fundraiser. "The New York publicity week was full of headlines but … her executive producer role for the 'Bratz' movie, the new TV show with Bravo and her being honored by 'Project Runway' all seemed to get missed. I wish someone would take the time to focus on some of these items," Cavileer said in an e-mail. As to rumblings that "American Idol" finalist Chris Daughtry will perform, Cavileer said, "Chris may join us as well as other celebs."

I am still trying to understand why they were honoring her in the first place?

Who at Bravo thought giving Paula Abdul a show was good idea?
January 12th, 2007 under American Idol 1-5, Paula Abdul. [ Comments: none ]

Bravo has committed to a TV series about the life of “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul. “Hey Paula,” set to debut sometime later this year, will follow Abdul, 44, as she films a new season of “Idol,” works on “Bratz: The Movie” and develops her own perfume and cosmetics line. “It fits the Bravo mandate to show what’s going on in the culture of the moment,” said Bravo president Lauren Zalaznick. Besides showing the frenzy of life in Hollywood, “Hey Paula” will offer “an intimate glimpse at the real woman behind the headlines,” Zalaznick said. Bravo hasn’t decided whether that will include mention of Corey Clark, the 2003 “American Idol” contestant who accused Abdul of coaching him and initiating an affair. Fox cleared Abdul of any wrongdoing. “What we want it to be is the current Paula,” Zalaznick said. “We’re not a biographical or historical channel.” The pop culture network has hits with “Project Runway” and “Top Chef,” and announced today (Jan. 12) that the upcoming fifth season of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” will be its last. It previously aired a similar docu-series with comic Kathy Griffin, who mocks her life on “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.”

Billboard (Thanks TGOM!)

Seriously? Who is going to watch that? If that interview is any hint what her show is going to be like, I feel for the people who are working on the show.

No one bids on Paula Abdul
September 24th, 2006 under American Idol 1-5, Paula Abdul. [ Comments: none ]

Yikes. Not a single bidder on the ebay auction that offered first class airfare for two, an appointment with a Beverly Hills stylist, shopping on Rodeo and the chance to hang with Paula Abdul. All proceeds for the auction would have gone to the MS Foundation but perhaps the $25,000 US price tag was a little steep? The auction ended over 4 hours ago without a bite.

Haute Gossip

Is it wrong of me to get some pleasure out of that? he he
