Heather Mills might get some help from Paul Mccartney’s stepsister? |

It seems that Heather Mills may be getting an inadvertent ally to back up her claims of domestic violence at the hands of the legendary singer, in the form of her estranged hubby Sir Paul McCartney’s stepsister Ruth. Mills’ lawyers are reportedly in talks to buy a set of tapes recorded by Ruth, in which she claims that her stepbrother once pinned her to a wall and screamed at her. The tapes are being sold by Beatles writer Geoffrey Giuliano who interviewed McCartney with a view to writing her autobiography. Talking to the Daily Mail, 46-year old Ruth, who runs an internet fan club site from her home in Los Angeles, California, admitted that not only could Macca be "mercurial", but also that his first wife Linda was a "nosey cow" and "snoop". "All I would say is that Paul can be mercurial. He’s like the weather, if you wait long enough, it will change from sunny to stormy. He is a man with a huge ego who has been used to having his own way for decades. I can only speak from my first-hand experience of him and I know that he can explode in rage and then be a gentle soul the next moment," the Daily Mail quoted her, as saying. Ruth McCartney, who was adopted by Macca’s father Jim when he married her mother, also revealed that there had been a time when the singer pinned her to a kitchen wall and screamed at her for wanting to join showbiz. "Mike (Macca’s brother) was about to release a song called Dance The Do and I went and auditioned for Granada Television in London as a back-up dancer in the group and was given 50 quid. I was so pleased with myself that I went straight to Paul and Linda’s house and blurted out how proud I was," Ruth recalled. "Paul’s face clouded with rage. We were in the kitchen and he pinned me up against the wall, with his left hand above me and his right finger wagging in my face. Then he went nuts. He told me people only wanted to know me because I was his sister; that guys only wanted to date me because they thought they would end up hanging out with a Beatle playing the guitar," she said. Ruth also revealed that during that ten minute rant, Macca had called her a "spotty teenager" and told her she was "worthless". He also advised her to give up the dream of following in his footsteps and instead to marry a rich old man and have kids. "He told me I was a spotty teenager, that I was worthless. He ranted for ten minutes. He yelled and told me all sorts of cruel things, but he meant it for the best. I felt emotionally battered," she said. "Paul would blow hot and cold when he did drugs. He could be lovely one moment and nasty the next," Ruth revealed. And while negotiations for the tapes are said to have been stalled between Mills lawyers and Giuliano, their release is sure to put a dent in Macca’s ‘good guy’ image.

Why did his stepsister feel the need to tell that story to the biographer? Seriously I could never stab my family in the back like that, could you?

Heather Mills going for broke!!! |

Fresh off her split from Paul McCartney, is Heather Mills broke? A source close to Mills and McCartney tells Access Hollywood that Heather has "got no money." In fact, although Heather and Paul hired the same attorneys used by Prince Charles and Princess Diana, our source says Heather couldn’t afford to use them. As a result, Heather has had to head to court on two occasions to argue for herself. Surprisingly, in one appearance, she prevailed over McCartney’s lawyers, allowing her to remain living on his Surrey property. In another divorce development, Paul is seeking full custody of their 3-year-old daughter Beatrice, our source confirmed. Mills has reportedly maintained that it isn’t in Beatrice’s best interest for McCartney to have full custody because she doesn’t want the child constantly on the road touring with her father. Although it is unusual for father’s to receive full custody, Heather is afraid Paul will get preferential treatment from the British courts because of his superstar status. Calls by Access Hollywood to Paul and Heather’s reps have yet to be returned.

Good she deserves it and I hope the Judge doesn’t award her anything when the divorce is final.

Heather Mills shows us her court notes |

Heather Mills appears to have let slip further secrets of her £800 million divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney. She’s been photographed clutching a ring folder on which she has scribbled a series of notes relating to her legal fight. The notes suggest she is seeking a highly unusual court order – which lawyers say is mainly obtained in domestic violence cases – to keep Sir Paul out of the ‘matrimonial home’. The notes, clearly in view to photographers as Ms Mills walked towards Victoria Station, are headed: "I’m seeking an order for occupation of the matrimonial home." It is then followed by three, numbered bullet points. The first says: "Continued access till divorce," while the second is illegible. The third refers to a "contempt of court" and beneath it is written "ex parte application". The final piece of the page on view contains the name "The Honourable Mrs Justice Baron". This implies the judge set to hear the case is Mrs Justice Baron QC, a brilliant divorce barrister appointed to the High Court in 2004. Before becoming a judge, Florence Baron acted in a number of high-profile divorce cases, representing among others Victoria Spencer in her divorce from Princess Diana’s brother Earl Spencer. It is not the first time Ms Mills has revealed details of the case. It was discovered she was being represented by Mishcon de Reya, the firm that represented Princess Diana in her divorce case, when a folder with the firm’s name emblazoned upon it was photographed on her knee. A leading family lawyer said today an occupation order was rare and usually only made in cases where domestic violence was a major issue. It is likely the order refers to her current home in Hove rather than the house in Peasmarsh, East Sussex, where McCartney lives.
What Heather scribbled down:
1: "I am seeking an order for occupation of the matrimonial home" An occupation order under part IV of the Family law Act 1996 is rare and usually obtained where domestic violence is an issue in divorce cases.
2: Continued access till divorce Likely to refer to her right to visit McCartney’s current properties until divorce. It is not thought to refer to their daughter Beatrice.
3: Largely illegible
4: "Contempt of court. Ex parte application" Contempt of court may refer to the leaking of highly explosive court papers, in which she alleged he had being abusive towards her.
5: The Honourable Mrs Justice Baron This refers to Dame Florence Baron QC, appointed a High Court judge in 2004. "An absolutely brilliant barrister and reckoned an absolutely first rate judge," said a lawyer. Has she been appointed to the case?

Paul McCartney’s ex-wife, Heather Mills, is planning to take 40 friends on a £100,000 pound ($189,000) European birthday celebration. The Sunday Mirror reported on Mills’ plans, which come after she revealed on television that she is not romantically involved with fitness guru Ben Amigoni. The Mirror reported that despite Mills saying she will never get married again, she and 22-year-old Amigoni were filmed suggestively in a training session for the TV show. Mills said she was not a gold digger, because most of her money goes to charities. Mills said the upcoming bash at a resort in Slovenia is her way of thanking her guests for their support through the divorce. However, the Mirror reported that some skeptics think the bash might be Mills’ way of trying to win over some of the mutual friends she shared with McCartney.

I love that she is banished to Thanksgiving, a day no one watches TV.
