This is going to be cool, Beavis and Butt-Head are back with all new episodes
July 14th, 2022 under Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

Last month, we got a Beavis and Butt-Head movie. And that was really cool.

Butt this news is like even cooler. The new episodes begin streaming August 4th on Paramount+, and they are like fire, uh-huh, fire. Or, as the press release says, they are “stupider than ever.”

And don’t we all need something stupid these days? And they make us stupider, if that is even possible.

Even if it isn’t, it is exactly what we need. So until the 4th, you can stream the original remastered episodes, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America and Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, on Paramount+.

The Orphan gets her origin story
July 13th, 2022 under Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2009, we all got scared by the Orphan. Now, 13 years later, the story of Esther’s First Kill is going to be told on August 19th in theaters and streaming exclusively on Paramount+.

Esther’s terrifying saga continues in this thrilling prequel to the original and shocking horror hit “Orphan.” After orchestrating a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility, Esther travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. Yet, an unexpected twist arises that pits her against a mother who will protect her family from the murderous “child” at any cost.

If Esther was that terrifying when she was with her new family, then imagine how horrifying she will be when she was with her first family? I am making sure that all of my lights are working before I press play on the horror film. I hope I can sleep after I watch it. It took me a while after the first feature.

Evil will possess Paramount+ for a 4th season!
July 6th, 2022 under Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

Evil started out on CBS, but the pandemic caused them to move the series to Paramount+ for its second season. The supernatural drama, which is streaming its 3rd season now, is doing so well, that it will be back for a 4th one.

“EVIL continues to expand its fanbase of both critics and viewers alike; season three currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and it is a consistent top five most-watched original series and acquisition driver for the service,” said Nicole Clemens, president, Paramount+ Original Scripted Series. “We couldn’t be more excited to be terrified by what Robert and Michelle create for season four with our outstanding cast bringing it to life.”

If you haven’t seen Evil, then you should subscribe to Paramount+ to watch it. It is dark, evil, twisted, and totally fun. Robert and Michelle find ways to make you think and to question things about religious symbolism. There is a fine line between the horrors we are taught in the Bible and reality. So it is interesting to see if David (Mike Colter), Kristen (Katja Herbers), and Ben (Aasif Mandvi) can distinguish what is demonic, divine, or man-influenced each week. That and Michael Emerson is so good at being pure Evil.

Paramount+ kills Why Women Kill
July 1st, 2022 under Paramount+. [ Comments: 1 ]

Back in December, Paramount+ picked up Why Women Kill for a third season, but today they killed the anthology series.

“Paramount+ has made the difficult decision not to move forward with Season 3 of ‘Why Women Kill,’” a Paramount+ spokesperson said in a statement to Variety. “We would like to thank our partners at CBS Studios and Imagine Television Studios, the amazing creator and showrunner Marc Cherry and the incredible writers, cast and crew for two memorable seasons.”

While I am sad about their decision, I am OK with it. The first season with Ginnifer Goodwin, Lucy Liu, and Alexandra Daddario was really entertaining because it took place over three different time periods that were all connected by the same house. The second season just dealt with one storyline, and it didn’t really have any real payoff.

Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe is the silly fun we all need!
June 23rd, 2022 under Paramount+. [ Comments: 14 ]

Let’s be honest. The world is a depressing place right now with everything going on. We just need something that is going to distract us, require no brain cells, and will make us laugh for a few hours.

Mike Judge knows we all need to laugh really hard, so he brought back his most beloved characters to make the problems of the world seem so much smaller. That is exactly what Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe streaming on Paramount+ does! It doesn’t solve the gas prices, but it will make you laugh at people with gas like you did when you were a kid.

It is 1998, and Beavis and Butt-Head are in high school. Their school is holding its annual science fair, and the winner gets to go to Space Camp. The two of them screw up and set the school on fire, fire.

They go to court, and the judge sentences them to 8 weeks of Space Camp. While they are here, Astronaut Serena thinks that they can do something on the Space Shuttle that can help her. Therefore, she brings them with her to outer space. They think she wants to have sex with them, so they agree to go with her.

Of course, they screw up, and the shuttle is in danger. They need to get rid of two people if they want to make it back to Earth alive. Beavis and Butt-Head accidentally sacrifice themselves.

But all hope is not lost because they go into a black hole and come out in 2022. Now, they are looking for Serena because they think they are going to score with her. So, they are on a mission to find her. Meanwhile, she and the Feds are out to find them. What happens when they all meet up? You are not going to want to miss what happens when that happens.

This movie is not about the plot, which works. It is about Beavis and Butt-Head being so horny that everything they hear reminds them of sex. Sometimes, like now, we all need to watch something mindless to make us forget the troubles of the World. So, for 90 minutes, we get to laugh along with them whenever they hear something that sounds like dick.

This movie won’t make you smarter, but it will make you happier! And don’t we all need that these days? Yeah, yeah.

If you still need more Beavis and Butt-Head when the film is done, then you can watch every episode on Paramount+. The series holds up surprisingly well.
