Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Country icon Willie Nelson will reunite with Jessica Simpson in "Blonde Ambition," a loose remake of the 1988 film "Working Girl." The story follows a young woman (Simpson) who becomes the unwitting pawn of two ruthless business executives in their bid to usurp and replace the head of an international conglomerate. Nelson is playing Simpson’s grandfather. They previously worked together on her feature debut, "The Dukes of Hazzard." Also cast is comedian Larry Miller, who will play the conglomerate’s CEO. He previously starred for the film’s director, Scott Marshall, in "Keeping Up with the Steins." Previously cast in the film were Luke Wilson, Rachael Leigh Cook, Andy Dick and Penelope Ann Miller. The movie is shooting in New York and Shreveport, La. Sony Entertainment will release the film theatrically.

Looks like Sony is no longer considering to release this movie straight-to-DVD? I wonder if after they test it, they will change their minds? No offense to Luke Wilson, but that has to be some of the worst casting in years. Seriously Andy Dick? Do they really want this movie to fail?

Jessica Simpson’s father and manager Joe has fired troubled Prison Break star Lane Garrison from his daughter’s latest movie project. Garrison was a troubled youth in Texas when he moved in with his family’s minister–Joe Simpson. Even though he is still close to the Simpson family, Joe had to let him go from the film because he was set to play a character who was continually drunk. Simpson is currently filming Blonde Ambition with Luke Wilson in Shreveport, Louisiana. Garrison was involved in a car crash earlier this month that killed Vahagn Setian, 17, and injured two other passengers. Alcohol is thought to have been a factor in the crash. This is the latest trouble that Garrison has faced. Just one week after the crash, someone stole his identity and wiped out his entire bank account.

Dazzling divorcee Jessica Simpson has taken her dating game to the next level by starting a hot new romance with co-star Luke Wilson – while continuing her fling with John Mayer. "Jessica certainly got back in the swing of things – and she owes it all to Luke," a close pal told The ENQUIRER. "A year after her divorce, she’s rediscovered just how much fun dating can be, and Luke is more than happy to play along." Luke, 35, first met Jessica, 26, on the set of "Blonde Ambition" – and the two immediately hit it off. The comedy – an updated version of the Melanie Griffith hit "Working Girl" – is filming in Shreveport, La. It didn’t take long for the on-set friendship to blossom into a surprise romance. "The last thing Jessica was looking for was a new romance," revealed the pal. She and John Mayer, 29, have been talking by phone constantly while she’s on location. "But Luke is one of the most charming guys in Hollywood – not to mention handsome," said the pal. "He was very generous with Jessica, constantly helping her run through lines and rehearse to make their scenes magic."
