https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYHJjCLIkfo Back in May, ABC cancelled Designated Survivor. Today, nearly 4 months later, Netflix announced that they elected the show for a third term, I mean season.
According to the press release, “President Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) will face a political reality. campaigning. What does it take to make a leader? What price will he be willing to pay? This season will explore today’s world of campaigning, smear tactics, debates, campaign finance and ‘fake news.’ Democracy, as we know it, will hang in the balance.”
The show will begin filming its 10 episodes later this year and air sometime in 2019. No word if the series’ other stars like Kal Penn and Italia Ricci will also be returning to the White House with Sutherland. Without them, it just will not be the same.
A big change that was already in the works is still happening behind-the-scenes. Neal Bear, who was the executive producer on Law & Order: SVU and Under the Dome, will take over as EP of this show. The doctor turned producer is someone whose politics I admire. Thus, I cannot wait to see what changes he brings to the political drama.
If you never saw the show on ABC, then you will be able to stream the first two seasons on Netflix.
UPDATE: Italia Ricci posted a cryptic message on Instagram about the show being saved from cancellation. She wrote, “Wait. What? 😏” Did they not tell her about the revival? Time will tell…
UPDATE 2: Kal Penn wrote, “I AM SO EXCITED THAT WE CAN FINALLY TALK ABOUT THIS! Season 3 baby! Thank you to all the fans. We love you guys.” Then he followed up with, “My mom is gonna be so relieved that I have a job for another few months.”
Ever since Netflix fired Kevin Spacey from House of Cards in December for alleged sexual misconduct and harassment, we have wondered how they were going to deal with his departure. Now we know. They are going to kill him off just like the book.
How are they going to 86 him? We do not know. We will just watch when the sixth and final season begins streaming starting on November 2nd. Hopefully, it will be really sadistic and not just a mention.

Matt Groening is back with her first new animated show since Futurama and Disenchanted is absolutely enchanting. The Simpsons is set in current time (even though they don’t age), Futurama is set in the future and the show that is now streaming on Netflix now takes place in the past.
Bean (Abbi Jacobson) is the Princess of Dreamland in medieval times and she is not your traditional princess. She likes to drink, gamble and fool around. When her father, King Zøg (John DiMaggio) forces her to marry someone for an alliance to get magic, she does everything in her power not to marry him.
No matter what she does, her wedding day is finally here. When her future husband falls on the sword, it looks like she is in the free and clear. That is until her father tells her she has to marry his brother (Matt Berry). It looks like she is doomed until an elf named Elfo (Nat Faxon) crashes the wedding. Bean and her demon Luci (Eric Andre) make a run for it with Elfo.
Together the three of them will rebel against society and her father. They will seek out on new adventures and discover new places. No matter what happens, they have each other. While we have an enjoyable show to watch.
Each of the first 10 episodes is better than the one before it. All leading up to a shocking season finale that sets up the next 10 episodes that are coming to Netflix. I cannot wait to see what happens next because what has already happened is so very good.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xh9XFxo2Hg&feature=youtu.be Nappily Ever After is about a woman, who was all about her perfect hair. Until her locks were ruined during a hairdressing mishap. What is Violet Jones going to do with her imperfect do? She is going to free herself from it and all of her hair. Translation, she is going to shave it off!
You cannot play the part of a woman with a shaved head and not have one. Therefore, as Violet loses her security blanket, so did Sanaa Lathan. In the first trailer for the Netflix drama that begins to stream on September 21st, you get to see her do just that. You watch as she becomes a modern-day Samson. Unlike the biblical strongman, she gains strength without her mane. We are going to see her character grow with each inch of her hair that grows back.
Ever since Taxi, Tony Danza has pretty much been playing the good guy. Not on The Good Cop. It looks like he is going to be a former bad cop, whose son (Josh Groban) is the complete opposite. Grobs, who is naturally goofy, it is going to be uptight on the cop show. Strangely, it works really well for him. At least in the trailer for the Netflix show that begins streaming on September 21st. Mark your calendars, or they will arrest you.
