Leslie Jones is going to be hosting the reboot of Supermarket Sweep on ABC this fall. Did you miss the original game show that was so much fun? Well, Netflix got their hands on the first one, and they are streaming it now.
Whether you have seen it or not, they created a compilation that will make you want to watch or rewatch it. Several of the contestants hamming up by getting their five hams. What is their obsession with the pig meat? During the final round of the game show, a contestant from each team has to go shopping. The one spends the most money wins, and hams are expensive. They might fill up your shopping cart quickly, but they make you a lot of cash. At the end of the day, that is what is most important.
This weekend, The Kissing Booth 2 debuted on Netflix, and it ended with a cliffhanger. Leaving fans of the movie wondering whether or not we will get a third movie. The film’s star, Joey King, didn’t leave us hanging for too long.
The actress wrote, “Coming to Netflix in 2021 #TheKissingBooth3. I couldn’t be happier!!!! Should Elle go to Berkeley or Harvard????????.” Shortly after she posted that, the streaming service posted a teaser for the third movie in the franchise.
So was it filming back when we could still kiss other people that do not live in our households? According to Deadline, it was shot right after the second one! That means we will get plenty of kissing. Not only that, we will be seeing more of the second’s movie MVP! That is right, hunky Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez) is dancing his way back into Elle’s life as she decides which Flynn brother she wants to go to college with.
Looks like 2021 will be a good year. At least on Netflix. Although, if Netflix really loved us they would release KB3 sooner rather than later. Until then we will just be watching KB1 and KB2 over and over again.
Amazon Prime announced today at Comic-Con@Home that they picked up The Boys for a third season, a month and a half before season two debuts.
Not only that, Aisha Tyler will be hosting Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys after each episode. Cast members, creatives, and special guests will talk about each episode from the second season after each episode premiere. The after-show will give us some insight into what we just watched. Sometimes we need that explanation because you never know what just happened even though you just saw it with your own eyes.
If you don’t know what that means, watch season one before season two debuts on September 4th, then you will understand what I just said.
Amazon Prime is not the only ones spreading the good news, Netflix picked up Sweet Magnolias for a second season. The show’s star, Joanna Garcia wrote, “I have been counting down the minutes to be able to share the news! @netflix has renewed @sweetmagnoliasnetflix for another season! Each day I read all of your amazing messages and I’m truly humbled. This show has saved me in so many ways and I love that we get to continue telling our story. Thank you @Netflix! Thank you to every single person involved in the making of this special show! And thank all of YOU, for joining us in our little town and shining such a bright light on Serenity. I can promise #sweetmagnoliasS2 will be back with more stories to bring you hope, comfort, drama, and goodness! Until then…#whosinthecar! I swear I don’t know…I would never keep that secret from ya’ll 😉!! Now I’m off to #pouritout!”
Do you think she knows who was in the car? I need to know now too! Want to why we all want to know who was in the car, then watch season one of Netflix. Once you press play on episode one, you won’t hit stop until the final episode concludes. It is an addictive binge.
Netflix announced today that they picked up the critically acclaimed The Kominsky Method for a third season. That is the good news, but the sad news is that it will be its’ last season.
The dramedy stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin as two friends who are adjusting to life as they get older. Towards the end of the second season, Douglas was diagnosed with cancer. I bet you the series will end with him dying from it. It is a good way to go out.
Chuck Lorre, who created the show, has this to say about his Golden Globe winning show ending, “’The Kominsky Method’ has been a true passion project for me and it’s been an incredible experience to see the warm response from both audiences and critics. I’m excited to wrap up the story with this final chapter.”
Are you sad that we are only getting one more season?
A few weeks ago, it was revealed that YouTube was not going to air the third season of Cobra Kai even though it was already shot. Then Sony announced that they were shopping the series around. Today, we found out that Netflix decided to save the amazing show.
Later on this year, Netflix will begin streaming the first two seasons, and then they will debut the third one sometime after that. I hope they don’t wait too long because fans like me are waiting to find out what happens next in Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny’s (Billy Zabka) saga that has lasted over 35 years, two movies and two streaming services. Very impressive!
Executive Producers Josh Heald, and Jon Hurwitz say that their new home allows them to “explore opportunities to further expand The Karate Kid universe.” I wonder if that means Martin Kove will get his own spinoff? Is it wrong that I would like to see his character exit the Cobra Kai series? It should be easy to do because they set that up in the season two finale. I won’t tell you how because I don’t want to spoil the show for you if you have not seen it yet.
If you have not seen it, then I highly suggest that you stream it as soon as it is on Netflix. It is one of the best shows on television these days. Don’t get me started on the fight scenes. That is normally not my thing, but man, they make this chick go gaga over them.
