Five shows whose future aren’t grimm at NBC!
April 26th, 2013 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

NBC has finally picked up some of its shows for next season and they are Revolution, Chicago Fire, Parenthood, Grimm and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The huge news is that all of the shows, yes including Parenthood, were picked up for 22 more episodes. So get your tissues ready?
So as you noticed these are all dramas, what about the comedies? NBC says they will announce some more renewals in the next few weeks. So maybe there is hope for Whitney. Joking please NBC put that show out of misery, paid for by people who like to laugh.

Hannibal is a beautifully shot dark procedural!
April 4th, 2013 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

If you mixed The Following with Elementary and had one of the best eyes behind the camera to make it all look stunning, then you would have NBC’s Hannibal that debuts tonight at 10p.
Special Agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) is an FBI Criminal Profiler and he has a way of seeing murders like no one else. And you will see what he sees.
As he looks into one of his cases something happens and he will need a psychiatrist to talk about things. That doctor is a man goes by the name Hannibal Lecture (Mads Mikkelsen).
Lecture will help him with cases, and Graham has no idea that someday he will be putting him away for being a serial murderer. But before that happens we get to watch their relationship grow over the next 13 weeks and hopefully even longer. It is interesting story that you will enjoy watching it unfold every Thursday at 10p.

The New Normal ends the season with beautiful wedding and a baby!
April 2nd, 2013 under Andrew Rannells, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight on NBC at 9p is the one hour season finale of The New Normal and it has plenty of laughs and happy tears.
The first half hour starts out with Brian (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha) planning their wedding and the two men have problems deciding on everything. Not only do they have problems agreeing on things for their big day, they have yet to pick out a name for their son that is due any day now. But by the end of the episode they will have the perfect name for him, but I can’t tell you what it is because what fun is that.
Then for the second half hour it is time for David and Brian’s wedding, but they are going to have a wedding crasher. That’s because Goldie’s (Georgia King) water breaks during the ceremony. Baby ICan’tTellYouHisName ruins his dads’ wedding, but he gives us a sweet birthing scene. We have waited all season for his arrival and it doesn’t disappoint. Neither does the season finale. So tune in for the last episode for the season of the best new family show we got this television year.
I really hope that NBC picks this show up for a second season because I really fell in love with this darling show.

Scout’s honor you’re going to love tonight’s The New Normal
March 26th, 2013 under Andrew Rannells, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9:30p on NBC’s The New Normal former Eagle Scout David (Justin Bartha) decides to lead a troop of Boy Scouts, but how will they react when they find out he is gay. At first he keeps it a secret from everyone, but then Bryan (Andrew Rannells) convinces him to come out to his troop. What happens next will surprise you and make you question how in the year 2013 the Boy Scouts can still discriminate against anyone for anything.
This is an important message that needs to get out there, and TNN does a good and fair job for making their point why this rule needs to be overturned. So tune in for another great episode of this sitcom that has turned out to be a wonderful family show that everyone can enjoy and should watch.

NBC f*cks with its f*cked up schedule
March 13th, 2013 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

It is not news that NBC is having a sh!tty year and they are making things even worse by moving things around and not for the better. Shows are ending early and others are being moved around, so you won’t know when they are on.
Here are the changes:

READY FOR LOVE (Who wants to watch this?)
Will now air Tuesdays, beginning April 9 (9-11 p.m. ET) following “The Voice.”
CELEBRITY APPRENTICE
Beginning April 14 (9-11 p.m ET) will be expanded to two hours through the end of May.
THE VOICE (I like that this cut Celebrity Apprentice down to an hour because two hours is too much)
Will air encore episodes on Sunday, March 31 and Sunday, April 7 (7-10 p.m. ET), leading into original episodes of “The Celebrity Apprentice” (10-11 p.m. ET)
GO ON (Looks like they are giving up on doing comedies on any other day but Thursday)
Moves to Thursdays on April 4 and April 11, which will be the season’s final episode. Both episodes will air at 9:30-10 p.m. ET following “The Office.”
THE NEW NORMAL (NBC did not do enough to publicize this truly great family sitcom)
One-hour season finale on Tuesday, April 2 (9-10 p.m. ET) following “The Voice.”
SMASH (At least they are letting this show air, but man they are setting it up to fail.)
Moves to Saturdays at 9 p.m. beginning April 6 and will air its entire season of 17 episodes.
WHITNEY (Why is this still airing?)
Will have a one-hour season finale on Wednesday, March 27 (8-9 p.m. ET)

I don’t know how much NBC can take under Robert Greenblatt? The constant moving of shows and having them randomly debut is what is hurting the network most. You never know when a show is on. If I didn’t have it set to record on my DVR, I never would’ve known when some of my shows are on and which ones are off.
NBC has a lot of hard work ahead of them as they look to next season because what do they really have?
