Last week, Dolly Parton got the COVID-19 vaccine and reworked her song Jolene in honor of it. She wants other people to get her vaccine or one of the other ones, so she figured it would inspire them.
Today, Carole King finally got her shot, and she reworked her song It’s Too Late for the occasion.
Maybe they can take their act on the road? However, we won’t be able to see them in person until everyone, who can get the vaccine, gets it. So get the shot, shot, shot, shot, shot!
So today, I was scrolling through my For You page on TikTok, and Aqua popped up. At that point, I knew my day was made! Who didn’t love their song Barbie Girl? Actually, the whole album, Aquarium, is like totally awesome. It is one of my all-time favs.
Anyways, after I watched the first video, I had to watch them all. Here is Lene Nystrøm, René Dif, and Søren Rasted performing an acoustic version of their hit single. It is a lot different than the Pop version, but it still brings a smile to my face.
Seriously, if you need a pick me up today, then listen to their music. It is so hard not to get up and dance to their tunes. We all need a reason to dance these days, and their songs do just that! Stop being wrapped in plastic and be the Happy Boys and Girls they sing about.
