Imagine Dragons go hard and Cutthroat
May 7th, 2021 under Music. [ Comments: none ]

When you think of Imagine Dragons‘ songs, you think of them as Alternative Pop Rock. However, their new song Cutthroat sounds like something a person who wants to cut your throat would sing.

Dan Reynolds’ calming voice is anything but on the tune. Instead, he is screaming like someone in a Heavy Metal band.

Is it bad? No, I really got into it. I just never expected this type of sound to come from them.

I am used to listening to their albums to calm down. But this one makes me want to get up and Rock out. I like it, and I want more of it.

Da Baby made a Grammys red carpet for his baby
March 15th, 2021 under Music. [ Comments: none ]

The Grammys changed the rules this year because of COVID-19, and they said that no kids were allowed. Da Baby didn’t want his daughter to feel left out, so he created a red carpet just for her.

Since Princess Renny needs to be dressed up for the occasion, he made sure she was dressed to the nines. He flew Alani Taylor in from NYC to make the yellow gown for the toddler.

Da dad did good because she looks beautiful. She looks like the Belle of the ball.

It is a shame she did not get to walk the real red carpet with her dad, but this even better. This is what memories are all about, and she will remember how special her dad made her feel.

I don’t know much about Da Baby, but I love him because of this. There is nothing sexier than a loving dad!

Carole King does a Dolly Parton
March 8th, 2021 under Music. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Dolly Parton got the COVID-19 vaccine and reworked her song Jolene in honor of it. She wants other people to get her vaccine or one of the other ones, so she figured it would inspire them.

Today, Carole King finally got her shot, and she reworked her song It’s Too Late for the occasion.

Maybe they can take their act on the road? However, we won’t be able to see them in person until everyone, who can get the vaccine, gets it. So get the shot, shot, shot, shot, shot!

Remember Aqua?

So today, I was scrolling through my For You page on TikTok, and Aqua popped up. At that point, I knew my day was made! Who didn’t love their song Barbie Girl? Actually, the whole album, Aquarium, is like totally awesome. It is one of my all-time favs.

Anyways, after I watched the first video, I had to watch them all. Here is Lene Nystrøm, René Dif, and Søren Rasted performing an acoustic version of their hit single. It is a lot different than the Pop version, but it still brings a smile to my face.

Seriously, if you need a pick me up today, then listen to their music. It is so hard not to get up and dance to their tunes. We all need a reason to dance these days, and their songs do just that! Stop being wrapped in plastic and be the Happy Boys and Girls they sing about.

Arashi’s song Party Starters is the happiest song of 2020!
November 23rd, 2020 under Music. [ Comments: none ]

Let’s be honest with one another, 2020 has been depressing. Because of that, most of the music has trended that way too. However, we are not closing out the year that way, thanks to Arashi. The J-pop band’s latest single, Party Starters is so happy; it will make you want to get the party started.

Don’t believe, press play, then try not to jump out of your seat and dance to the tune. My cat is like, if you play that video one more time, I am going to kill you in your sleep. That is because I pick her up and make her dance with me every time. I mean, who else do we have to dance with in 2020 thanks to COVID-19.

Sadly, for my cat, I can play the single as loud and as many times as I want because it was my neighbors who told me about the record. What are they going to do, complain about me to the landlord? I will be like, but they are the ones who started the party!

So get your own party started with this ditty!

Seriously, let’s get this track trending wherever we can. I want to see y’all dance to it on TikTok. I am so over Jason Derulo’s Savage Love, Capone’s Oh No, and Black Eyed Pea’s Where Is the Love? This happy jam is screaming for people to let loose to it.
