Here’s the dirt how Machine Gun Kelly transformed into Tommy Lee
March 28th, 2019 under Mötley Crüe, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Machine Gun Kelly plays Tommy Lee in the Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt on Netflix. Like the drummer, Colson Baker also has a shirt of tattoos. His ink is not like Lee’s, so the makeup department had to cover it up everyday for the four month that they filmed the movie. Therefore, they put on a darker colored foundation on to hide his tats and then put a lighter one on to match Lee’s paler skin. When they were done, you couldn’t see any of Baker’s markings.

But what about the infamous scene with the rocker running around the hotel with just his underwear? Baker had to sit in the chair even longer so that they could apply those tattoos over the two layers of makeup.

If you watched the movie, then you would be none the wiser that he had to go through all of that to look the way he did.

When it comes to the film, it was too sterilized for me. It felt like a Lifetime movie with nudity and cursing. That and there was too much narration. Let the story tell itself. Having said all of that, it is worth the watch whether you are a fan of Crüe or not.

You don’t have to shout at the Devil cause Mötley Crüe got a biopic
February 19th, 2019 under Mötley Crüe. [ Comments: none ]

It has been a year of movies about music from A Star is Born to Bohemian cRapsody to Rocketman, but the one that truly captures the feeling of Rock’n’Roll is coming to Netflix on March 22nd. The Dirt will not be the Same Ol’ Situation as Mötley Crüe tells their bitchin’ story. It is exactly what Dr. Feelgood ordered because they were/are the bad boys of Rock.

From Vince Neil’s deadly car accident to losing his daughter from cancer to Tommy Lee’s marriages to Heather Locklear and Pamela Anderson to Nikki Sixx’s overdoses to all the girls, girls, girls they loved to their Rock star antics. It is a lot to put into one movie, but they are going to do it. We won’t have time to be smokin’ in the boys room when it comes out because it will be too fast for love. So we will be watching it in a continuous loop like a merry go round.

Since it is still a month away, can someone kickstart my heart on March 22nd! Especially since there will be 4 new songs plus 14 classic ones featured in the feature.

BTW I am sorry but Douglas Booth, Iwan Rheon, Colson Baker, Daniel Webber are too pretty to play Crüe.

Vince Neil announces that Mötley Crüe is recording four new songs!
September 13th, 2018 under Mötley Crüe. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2014, Mötley Crüe signed a document saying they would never ever tour again after their then-upcoming final tour. In fact, when the tour ended on December 31, 2015, they officially broke up. Or so we thought…

Today, lead singer Vince Neil tweeted, “Exciting news! I’ll be going back in recording studio in a few weeks with the boys to record 4 brand new Motley Crue tracks! Rock On!!” These songs will be their first ones since 2015’s All Bad Things.

I guess all good things are going on for Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars since they are back together again. Or they need the money. What? You thought about it too. Whatever the reason, Dr. Feelgood has a whole new meaning today because hearing they are releasing new songs is making me feel good. Where is my Tommy Lee drum solo for that bad joke?

What will be very interesting is if they decide to hit the road again. If they do, I wonder what will happen to that contract they signed four years ago?

Talking about time, if those four tracks turn into an album, then it will be their first one in 10 years.

How do feel about Crüe getting back together again?

UPDATE: Vince Neil explained how they are working on new tunes together. He wrote, “For those of you who don’t understand, yes ‘the boys’ means Motley and we signed a contract not to tour anymore. We never broke up or said we would never make music again. Hope this clears it up.”

Tommy Lee claims his son knocked him with a punch
March 6th, 2018 under Arrested, Mötley Crüe. [ Comments: none ]

Police were called to Tommy Lee’s house yesterday because he says his son with Pamela Anderson punched him. The rocker posted an image on Instagram, that he later deleted, and said, “”My heart is broken. You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you. Good job Brandon. Great son.” He did not say why his son punched him.

Although TMZ reports that the 21-year-old told them his father was drunk and he was defending himself. But his dad took the Twitter to defend himself by writing, “Hey @TMZ maybe get your facts straight before you go reporting bullshit. My fiancé and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me. I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT’S the truth.”

The site said police came to the house, but no arrests were made.

This has not been a good few weeks for Tommy Lee and his ex-wife, Heather Locklear. She was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence on Feburary 26th.

Boy George says his tiff with Vince Neil was worst than what we saw
January 4th, 2017 under Arnold Schwarzenegger, Boy George, Mötley Crüe. [ Comments: none ]

If you watched The New Celebrity Apprentice on Monday, then you saw ’80s Bad Boy Rockers Boy George and Vince Neil not get along on the NBC show. The Culture Club leader was upset that Motley Crue’s master was drinking in the studio when they were writing a jingle for Trident because he’s a recovering addict. It was the most confrontation we saw thus far, but we didn’t see it all. The Crying Game Crooner cried out Tweeted, “My tiff with @thevinceneil was worse off camera! Lol!” Then he added, “We made up though.” Enough to do a Vegas residency, only time will tell.
So is BG upset with the editing? He said, “@nbc #CelebrityApprentice it’s crazy how stuff is edited and my looking so glum at the end of episode 2 is outa context but I’m loving it!”
While he is OK with the editing take him out of context, I am upset we didn’t see their tiff as is. I am sure it would be funnier than Jon Lovitz’s jokes. Granted are most things?
When it comes to the Reality Competition show, I am loving it more with Arnold Schwarzenegger than that other guy. He is tough but fair and doesn’t play favorites. People who deserve to be eliminated are eliminated. It is not just the Project Manager who is responsible for screwing up. Plus, Arunld is so much more likeable. I also like that Governator explains how he came from nothing and made something of himself. He also calls out player who are playing it safe. The other guy didn’t, he was all about the face time. The Terminator is about teaching them how to be more successful in business and that is what the show should be about.
