Last week Miley Cyrus got a haircut, but up until yesterday she was keeping her shorter do under wraps or in a pony tail. That was until the MuchMusic Video Awards where she finally wore her new hairstyle down. I think she looks great even though it aged her a few years. In fact I think she looks a little like Jessica Alba with the new haircut for some reason. What do you think of her new look?

Miley Cyrus performed her new song Can’t Be Tamed on Britain’s Got Talent and the 17 year old is trying to prove that she is all grown up by kissing a female dancer. It was a such a lame attempt for publicity and changing her Disney image, that it reminded me of Adam Lambert’s sh!tty performance at the AMAs. I don’t care about the same-sex kissing, I just care about the sh!tty performances with the equally sh!tty songs. Seriously if you want respect then how about coming up with a good song and an equally good performance, instead of trying to make a name for yourself by using shock value that will only wind up ending your career sooner rather than later ie. Adam Lambert’s sales since that AMA disaster. Seriously Miley if you want to be considered an adult and get rid of your Disney image, then prove yourself by acting like one and not by desperate sad attempts like fake kissing a female dancer and barely wearing any clothes. You are Miley Cyrus, not Adam Lambert, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga or Madonna. Try being an individual and not a copycat.
Miley Cyrus thinks she needs acting lessons! The actress told WENN, “I’ve not taken like acting lessons or anything, but it doesn’t mean I don’t need to because I’m sure I do. Once I watch this film in the theater, I’m probably going to go book an acting coach.” So after watching that scene from The Last Song, do you think she needs to get an acting coach ASAP? And how many of you are thinking while she is at it she could get a singing coach too? Although she did give great advice on American Idol and she was a much better singer than Demi Lovato was on the Idol results show. Seriously Demi Lovato should not sing, her duet with Joe Jonas was beyond painful.
Now back to Miley, girl you should totally take acting lessons. In fact I think most actors should. If Jon Bon Jovi could take singing lessons after he had a few hit albums, then Miley you could do the same with acting lessons after a hit show and a few movies.
A clean cut and shaven Joaquin Phoenix has finally emerged after last year’s lunacy to do a PSA with Miley Cyrus and Liv Tyler. After watching that video, I think he was better off when he was rapping than doing that.
While TWLOHA is all about a good cause, that video is anything but.
Hannah Montana will be back for a fourth season, but when the season ends so will the show. Disney Channel Worldwide’s Adam Bonnett, senior VP/programming told The New York Post, “You never know in this business . . . but right now we’re scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes.” Miley Cyrus and the gang will begin filming the final season next week until the summer and the final eps will premiere sometime in the spring. For you Hannah Montanaholics who are already starting to go through withdrawal, you have a little time to get used to the idea because the show’s swan song will take about year to sing.
So I have to admit something to you guys and please don’t judge me to harshly, I have watched the show a few times and I actually liked it. It is the perfect amount of cheese and we all need that every now and again!
