Meryl Streep and Don Gummer celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on September 30th, but they didn’t celebrate it together. That is because they have split.
Their reps confirmed the news in a statement to The New York Post, “Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart.”
They have four children, Henry Wolfe, 43, and actresses Mamie Gummer, 40, Grace Gummer, 37, Louisa Jacobson, 30, and five grandchildren.
If a Hollywood couple can’t make it out of Hollywood, how do couples like Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have a chance?
We know that Only Murders in the Building is shifting focus for season three. They are leaving the building and heading down the Great White Way. If you are going to Broadway, you are going to need some big stars, and they have them.
We knew that Selena Gomez and Steve Martin Short were going to be joined by Paul Rudd on the Hulu comedy. And today, we learned who will be sharing the spotlight with them. That person is the legendary Meryl Streep!
If Only Murders doesn’t sweep the award shows next year, then those voters need to be taught what funny is. Sorry Abbott Elementary and Ted Lasso, but they Streeped you!
Meryl Streep was on The Graham Norton Show a while ago, and the host asked her about her name. It turns out that she wasn’t always Meryl Streep. Her last name was the same, but her first name was Mary, like her mother and her mother before her.
The Oscar winner’s dad didn’t want to have two Marys in the house, so he came up with Meryl.
When the actress was a child, she hated her name. However, it is that name, along with her acting, that made her stand out in a crowd.
Sometimes a rose by any other name is not the same!

Jonah Hill was so excited to work with Meryl Streep on Don’t Look Up that he kept calling her the GOAT. Well, the Oscar-winning actress didn’t know what they meant. She thought that he was calling her an old goat, like the animal.
So when Streep told Jennifer Lawrence about it, the actress explained to the legend that it means Greatest Of All Time. That made Streep feel better, but she was still OK with the first definition too.
We always think of Meryl Streep as a winner. However, Jeopardy thinks of her as a loser. That is why they had a whole category called “I Beat Meryl”. They asked the contestants to name the actresses who beat her at different awards shows. Proving it is always an honor to just be nominated. Granted winning is better. Then again having a whole category dedicated to you on the game show is not too shabby. Even they do portray you as a loser.
