After season ten, CBS picked up The Big Theory for two more seasons. Now that they are into that second season, people have been wondering will its 12th season be its last one.
Today, we got the answer and this will be their final season. WBTV and Chuck Lorre set this statement to The Hollywood Reporter, “We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons. We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”
It is interesting that they are ending the sitcom because it was the #1 scripted show last season. You would think everyone at the network and the studio will do everything it can to keep it going as long as they can.
Having said that as someone who has watched every episode, I am OK with ending. It has had run its course and I hope it goes out like it came in. By making us laugh.
How do you feel about The Big Bang Theory ending its hugely successful run?
UPDATE: Kaley Cuoco had this to say about the show ending, “This ride has been a dream come true and as life changing as it gets. No matter when it was going to end , my heart would have always been broken in two. Drowning in tears, we promise to bring you the best season yet. To the fans, our crew, families, Chuck Lorre, Warner Brothers, CBS, and everyone who has supported us for so many years, thank you. We are goin out with a bang 💫”
Tonight at 8p on CBS, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) will be seeing pink. No, they are not having a third baby girl, instead, they will each get pink eye and spread it to Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Raj on The Big Bang Theory. As you can see in this photo that Kaley Couco shared, the makeup department went overboard on the fake pink eye. Anyone who has had it, knows you don’t look like that.
How Penny (Cuoco) avoided getting it, we will have to tune in to find out. How her husband (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) didn’t catch it, well that we know. They are out of town when this happens. They take a red-eye (at least I am assuming so) to Texas to convince Georgie Cooper (Jerry O’Connell) to go to his little brother’s wedding next week. Could you imagine if Sheldon got conjunctivitis from them? Not only would there not be a wedding, Sheldon would call the CDC and put himself in quarantine until they were all better. Which would be a good thing for everyone else.
The only thing missing from tonight’s episode is a black eye. Or is it?
Last night, we saw the dress that Amy (Mayim Bialik) chose for her wedding to Sheldon (Jim Parsons) on The Big Bang Theory; and today we are seeing how she will look with it on on her wedding day. Her TV dad Teller, shared a photo from her big day; and she looks gorgeous even in that dress.
Let’s be honest, you saw that gown, and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) were right, that dress is ug-and-ly. Which is so perfect for Amy Farrah Fowler.
Mark your calendars for May 10th, to see Teller walk his TV daughter down the aisle. I am sure it will be a ceremony like one we have never seen before or will again.
Mayim Bialik has no problem sharing photos of herself with messy hair and no makeup on, but yesterday she shared a before and after photo so you can see the difference. And what a difference it makes, but Blossom looks beautiful either way. Don’t you agree?
Joey Lawrence did an interview with Us Weekly and they had to know if there is a chance that would could see him and Blossom together again. He told them they talk about it all the time and, “Mayim is interested in doing some type of reunion with the show and so am I, if we can find the right piece and the right way in for a reboot/reunion, we’re both open to it, there’s a lot of talk around it, so we’ll see!” Then he added, “We’ve talked about and it’s abut the public’s excitement continuing to grow and we’re trying to find the right way in. Then we’re down!”
This needs to happen because we need to know what happened to the Russos and Six! Since Bialik is busy with The Big Bang Theory, it can be all about everyone else. Blossomless is OK with me!
How excited would you be to have Blossom back? If you are, then let them know! Whoa!
