ABC announced today that Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 will be back for another season.
That means Ellen Pompeo will keep us guessing all season long if she will do another season for more money than she deserves. If she quits or the show gets cancelled, then her career is over. Can you see her found anything but Grey’s? She has barely don’t anything else in the 17 years?
Would you watch Grey’s with Meredith?
I will say something nice. At least Station 19 is returning. Now can they stop doing those crossovers that aren’t really crossovers?
UPDATE: Fox picked up Call Me Kat with Mayim Bialik for a second season. Not to be catty, but that show is so not funny. I tried 5 episodes, and even my cat told me to stop. If they want to get me to watch, just live stream kitties in the Cat Cafe. Then I will be hooked.
UPDATE 2: Fox cancelled the serial killer procedural Prodigal Son after two seasons.
Mayim Bialik is back with her own sitcom on Fox tonight at 8p (or after the football game, depending on where you live). Bialik plays Kat, a 39-year-old single woman who owns a cat cafe in Call Me Kat.
Kat lives on her own above her cat cafe. Her mom (Swoosie Kurtz) would love her daughter to stop being the crazy cat lady and get married like Kat’s best friend Tara (Vanessa Lachey). In the pilot episode, Tara is renewing her vows, and she asked Kat to bring a plus one. Kat asks one of her workers from the cafe to go with her. Phil (Leslie Jordan) is getting over a breakup with his boyfriend, so he is more than willing to go with his boss. However, Kat’s college crush, Max (Cheyenne Jackson), is back in town working at the bar by her cafe, and she would rather go with him to the wedding. What Kat doesn’t know is that Max is dating another woman from Paris. What will Kat do when she finds out that his girlfriend is also in town?
Thankfully, Kat can confide in her other employee Randi (Kyla Pratt). Randi is going to do everything in her power to get Kat to change. Something Kat will have to do because her mother won’t stop fixing her up on dates. Dates she doesn’t want because all she wants to do is date Max. Does he want to date her? Kat will do everything she can to find out.
Did I mention there are cats on the show? I mean, this is a show about a cat cafe, so we have to have kitties. They just make this sitcom even more meowvelous.
That and the cast play off of each purrfectly. How can you not have comedy tuna with Leslie Jordan and Swoosie Kurtz on the show. They always bring the funny, no matter what they do.
Because of all of the above, you will be drawn to Call Me Kat like a cat is drawn to catnip.
Last week, Fox announced that Paula Abdul, Ashley Tisdale, Ken Jeong, and Brian Austin Green are the judges for The Masked Dancer. What they didn’t tell us is that they are going to have guest judges on the show.
Today, Mayim Bialik revealed that she is one of them because her dress revealed more that she wanted to show. “My dress split open, a blister on my heel got infected, so I couldn’t even wear a shoe all day, but I had a blast judging Masked Dancer.” I bet she wishes she had one of their costumes to wear so she could have covered up her back and heel.
We don’t know if they will show her dress splitting open on the air. We will have to wait until December to find out. That is when the show debuts.
Yesterday, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch taped their final episode of The Big Bang Theory. This morning they made their mark on Hollywood permanent. They left their handprints and signatures in cement outside of the TCL Chinese Theatre.
Cuoco described the honor as, “Grateful for the endless dream that is the @bigbangtheory_cbs 💥 🖊.” Her TV husband Jonny Galecki also kept it simple with, “A true honor.”
The actresses who joined the sitcom, later on, wrote a little more. Rauch wrote, “As if being a part of the @bigbangtheory_cbs wasn’t enough of an honor of a lifetime…getting to share this moment at #thechinesetheater with these wonderful friends today was truly incredible.” Bialick got sentimental with, “I grew up walking distance from the theater where today my mom, my sons, and their dad watched me put my hands in cement. It’s completely surreal and I don’t think I even understand how profound this is yet.”
The series finale airs on May 16th, their handprints will be their forever.

Mayim Bialik and Jenna von Oÿ had lunch over the weekend and they look as close now as when they played BFFs, Blossom and Six, on the Blossom. Can you believe it has been 23 years since that sitcom ended because they look like they haven’t aged a day in all of that time.
You know, there was talk of reviving the series, seeing them together makes me wonder what is taking them so long to make it happen? Who doesn’t want to see what type of trouble they would get into as adults? You know it would be better than the first time around because they are older and can do more.
