May this couple never grow up and/or break up!

Sandor Sturbl, plays Peter Pan at the Hydro in Glasgow and in real life he is dating the actress who plays Wendy. Well according to Scottish Daily Record, last weekend he stopped the show to ask Lilly-Jane Young if she would be his bride in front of their co-stars and a packed audience and she said “Yes!” But then again, how could you say no that? I don’t even know them and I was tearing up. I think in large part due Lilly-Jane’s excitement about it all.
I love a sweet proposal and this is one of the yummiest ones I have ever seen!

Who’d think a marriage proposal at Home Depot could be so romantic!
September 13th, 2013 under Flash Mobs, Marriage Proposals. [ Comments: none ]

Dustin went to Home Depot in Salt Lake City with his roommate and got the surprise of a lifetime when he was whisked over to lumber section. Suddenly a group of people started dancing to Betty Who’s Somebody Loves You and as the song went on friends and family started to join in. Finally his boyfriend, Spencer, showed up with a sign that read “If I am good to you, won’t you be good to me.” Then Spencer joined in with the flash mob until the song stopped. As the store grew silent he grabbed Dustin’s hand to join him, then when they were together Spencer got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. Of course he said yes because how could you say no to such a wonderful proposal!
See straights, that is how you are supposed to be done!
BTW I hope they share their first dance together as a Mr & Mr because I am sure it will be something to remember forever and to strive for on our wedding day!

Watch this guy strike out with his proposal
August 6th, 2013 under Marriage Proposals, Sports figures. [ Comments: none ]

So David decided to propose to his girlfriend, Jessica, at a New Britain Rock Cats baseball game last week. Jessica looked horrified by his question, so when the announcer asked her for the answer she said, “I’m sorry. I can’t. I’m sorry.” Then she ran off up in to the stands and he ran in to the dug out.
No word what happened if and when the two met up again. But you have to wonder if they were like, do you think they believed us? Many are questioning, including me, if that proposal was real. Do you think they played a fast ball on us or do you think he really struck out?

Two more marriage proposals on Craig Ferguson
June 13th, 2010 under Craig Ferguson, Marriage Proposals. [ Comments: none ]

Back in a December a couple got engaged on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and then on Friday not one, but two couples proposed to each other on the show. I don’t know what it is about his CBS show that says “Will you marry me?” to these couples, but I think it is so sweet! I hope to some day get proposed to on his show. I guess there is magical something about the show.
Maybe they should redo their commercial for tickets to say, “If you are in the LA and want to propose to your special someone than call 800-MARRY-ME on national television for tickets.”
Tune in to The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson weeknights on CBS at 12:37a to see who will be the next couple to get engaged on his show!

This marriage proposal doesn’t score a goal
February 15th, 2010 under Awesome Videos, Marriage Proposals. [ Comments: 1 ]

You would think being proposed to on Valentine’s Day would lead to an automatic yes? Well not for Nick when he asked his girlfriend Melissa to be his Blue Shirt Bride at a Rangers game via the big scoreboard. But before you think their Valentine’s Day was completely ruined according to UPI the proposal was a hoax and the only sad ones were those at Madison Square Garden who weren’t in on the joke. So do you find that practical joke funny or sad by those NJ Jersey Devils fans?
