Mark Wahlberg sticks it to Jimmy Fallon
January 10th, 2012 under Jimmy Fallon, Marky Mark. [ Comments: none ]

Mark Wahlberg was on Late Night yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged him to a game of box hockey. Both men were fighters, but when it was time for one of them to finally score it was Marky Mark who hit the mark and for Fallon to fall on the floor. The NBC host was so exhausted from the game that he was out of breath while the singer/model/actor/producer wasn’t even bothered by the impromptu workout he got. I think after this Jimmy will consider doing some cardio so he isn’t left in complete exhaustion after a few minutes of pucking around.

Marky Mark getting back with the Funky Bunch?
September 29th, 2011 under Jimmy Kimmel, Marky Mark. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 3:18 in)

Last night Mark Wahlberg was on Jimmy Kimmel Live and he was talking about his new family restaurant Wahlburgers that is coming to Boston. So Kimmel suggested that they have a brunch on Sundays and call it “Funky Brunch”? Well here is what Marky Mark said to that, “Now that I have worked with Seth MacFarlane, one of the most talented and sweetest guys ever. He’s doing an album after having all of his success on television and movies. I’m coming back with the Funky Bunch. I probably will perform at the brunch…and I’ll come back and perform here.” I got a good vibration about that! C’mon who else besides me would like to see Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch together again?
BTW when Marky Mark says he is going to bring something from home on the show with him, he isn’t kidding. Back in December when he was on JKL, he told the ABC host about his friend Nacho who is an extreme eater. So Kimmel told the man with the abs to bring him on the show and he did! Can I tell you I think Nacho is the cutest thing ever, even as he downed two huge Wasabi balls and three glasses of Tabasco sauce. You know, I really wish Mark would give him a show because I know I would watch. And hopefully the Fighter will be part of it because don’t you just love how sweet he was with his really good friend and how proud he was of him. It is a side of the actor/producer we have never seen.

Do Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis have something to tell us?
July 6th, 2011 under Do they have something to tell us?, Marky Mark, That '70s Show. [ Comments: 1 ]

Fame Pictures
Instead of walking the red carpet, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg were photographed walking down the aisle. So do the two of them have something to tell us? Nope it is just the two actors filming a scene for their upcoming movie Ted that is written and directed by Seth MacFarlane.
The Family Guy actress makes a beautiful bride. Hopefully Seth is treating her character better in the movie than he does when he writes for her as Meg on his hit Fox animated comedy.

Mark Wahlberg is definitely the coolest dad!

Mark Wahlberg’s daughter Ella Rae is a huge Justin Bieber fan, so what does her daddy do to make her happy. Not only did she get to meet her idol, her dad is working out a deal so that he will do a movie with the world’s most famous teenager! Marky Mark told Vulture about his potential film with the Baby, “Well, we’re putting it together. Yeah. We’re doing it at Paramount. We pitched them the idea and, you know, we’re talking about doing it. He loves the idea. He’s been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he’s really talented.” You know what after CSI, I agree with him.
BTW Marky Mark you better hurry up and make the movie because 7 year old girls are really fickle and by the time he starts making the movie she might move on to her next teen idol!

That’s what happens when you call him Marky Mark

Did Jack McGee call his co-star Mark Wahlberg “Marky Mark” and that’s why he is in a headlock and screaming Rescue Me? I am not sure but what I do know is that two of them were discussing The Fighter at American Cinematheque. Well that and never to call Wahlberg “Marky Mark”…again!
