The Insider sat down with Mariah Carey and Debbie Matenopoulos had to know how she feels about American Idol coming back next year. The singer, who has openly admitted she hated being on the singing competition, gave it an unenthusiastic yeah.
Then when the host asked if she would return as a judge, Mimi told her, “I don’t think they would have me.” Then she added, “I would do it for, I don’t know, I was going to say a number but I won’t.” Well, they did give Katy Perry a reported $25 million to do the show, so imagine how much they would give Carey. Probably 0 because I think the hate is mutual.
Personally, I would rather see her on Idol over Perry, but that is me. Who would you rather see at the judges table?
Andy Cohen brought his show Watch What Happens Live to Los Angeles this week and his guest last night was Conan O’Brien. During the after show someone wanted to know who are their biggest backstage Divas? The TBS host’s answer was boring and a joke, but the Bravo one’s was perfect.
Cohen said, “Mine is Mariah Carey and I think it is a good thing.” Then he explained why, “She had me switch seats because she has a better side…She was a Diva in a way that I would want her to be a Diva.” Would you expect any less from Mimi, Darlings?
When it comes to her better side, it is so true. I am not saying her left side is ugly, it is just that her right side is much prettier.
Now that Mariah Carey is back with her Boy Toy, not Nick Cannon but Bryan Tanaka, so she needs to dress sexier for him. Here she is wearing a low cut black leather dress and she is definitely turning heads. Bryan better her make her feel like the queen that she thinks she is because he just had a birthday and he might age out soon.
While Mariah Carey had a happy birthday, I mean anniversary, on March 27th, her boyfriend, Brian Tanaka, will not tomorrow. That is because TMZ is reporting that his Sugar Mommy broke it off with him.
They said that she is sick of paying for his expensive gifts and that her backup dancer was extremely jealous of Mimi’s relationship with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.
I am such a cynic, I believe it is because their relationship wasn’t getting them press anymore. They need something to pitch to E! if they want a second season of Mariah’s World.
Personally, I think she broke up with the wrong person. Like her first ex-husband, I think she needs to part ways with her manager.
We have seen Mariah Carey wearing barely any clothes, but I don’t think we have seen her wearing barely any makeup. I guess being in a loving relationship with her much younger backup dancer has given her the courage to show her true face. You know what, she should do it more often because she looks better without all the eyeliner and such. Don’t you think she is prettier this way?
