Mariah Carey and being humble are two things you don’t see going hand in hand. However, 2020 is all about surprises.
The singer’s friend asked Alexa to “Play the Queen of Christmas.” Then the voice-activated bot said, “Here’s All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey on Amazon music.” As soon as the diva heard that, she got as red as her dress. Then she exclaimed, “C’mon, Alexa’s calling me that.”
I get it. When I asked Alexa, “TV, TV on the wall, who is the biggest bitch of them all,” she informed me it was me. I was just as thrilled and shocked as Mimi!

Remember last year when Mariah Carey was able to remove the cap on a bottle with just her voice? It turns out, her first try of the #BottleCapChallenge did not go as well. In this outtake, you can see that her vocal strength is so powerful, it actually knocked the bottle off of the table.
The only thing my thing voice does is chase people away.
This is why you need to wear a mask. If the singer’s breath can travel that far and do that, imagine what yours can do in a public place.

Mariah Carey turned the big 5-0 today, and she is celebrating her birthday with a new song. Since it is her day, she does not have to put on her full face if she does not want to. Thus, she didn’t.
Seeing her without all of that paint on her mug, she appears like a different person. She looks like a high-paid secretary from Long Island.
Maybe she should reinvent herself in this style? What do you think?

Mariah Carey did something that Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Billy Joel, David Bowie, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Kenny Rogers, Reba McIntyre, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Celine Dion nor Bruce Springsteen have done. In fact, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Janet Jackson, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Usher have come close but they are no Mariah
So what did she do that they didn’t do? She is the first solo artist to top the Billboard 100 charts in four different decades. She had #1 hits in the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and she will have one come 2020. All I Want for Christmas, a song that is 25 years old, is sitting on top of the chart today and will do so until January 4th. Talk about hitting a high note.
Personally, I cannot believe she is the first amongst all of those legends. However, she does release catchy songs that warrant being #1, so it makes sense.
